Hope you enjoyed your visit to our little corner of Wales, is there any departments you were most interested to go into for thurther development of skills and/or knowledge. I'm currently a trainee guard the the TR and can say Guarding is a good starting point if you ever wanted to go into it as (from my experience) is a more customer service focus role and you can have a great chat with up to 3 people in the van. If you start having withdrawal symptoms from the TR there is a name for it, TR blues :)
Oh trust me, I already have withdrawal symptoms I'm primarily interested in the loco side of things as I'm currently a driver at the railway I volunteer at in, but during my time at the TR, and because i was doing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award, they rostered me on a variety of different positions. I didn't think I would, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed guarding I'm going back in September to do 3 days of guarding and 3 days of locos, to get a proper feel for both. Thanks for watching :)
That large platform-inspecting fella with the weird whistle at the beginning.... don't I know him from somewhere? XD Seriously though, was great getting to know ya there mate, hope to see you again soon!
Reference ‘Sunday ‘DOE experience Are the fitting shops located at the VOR as no 3 and no 4 got overhauled there or have they got a loco shed there on site for that work ? I like pasty’s wrapped separate when eating chips in a bag
@@alexthewoo Is there anywhere to get a ‘pound ‘ bag in Tywyn ? I like chips but the expensive is now getting to prohibit my lalapin habit ,I’m afraid it’s just one or other . On another note is the TR looking for a good person on the lamp ?
