      Our podcast is on breakthrough innovations in healthcare. I'd say we've really tried to push the show through connections of guests, and that's been a major help. @@jimwest5027

    I am currently trying to write the script for my very first episode (hardest task for a long time) and I can fully appreciate the loneliness that you must feel. Could it be an idea to use Instagram or similar to promote the episodes and have the dialogue and feedback there ?

    • @Buzzsprout
      @Buzzsprout  Год назад +1

      Absolutely! Utilize a clear CTA to encourage your listeners to share feedback on social channels or leave reviews on your preferred podcast directories. An excellent way to engage your audience and grow your show.

    I'd be interested in knowing which program you're using for interviewing Ross. This definitely is 10X the quality of Zoom. This is one reason why I haven't put my podcast interviews on my regular RUclips channel because the quality of the video is very poor. What are you using?

    • @Buzzsprout

      We use Riverside.fm for all of our remote recordings. They also have an excellent RUclips channel: www.youtube.com/@Riversidefm

    Totally agree, as a solo podcaster the lack of feedback from listeners is quite deafening. And thank you for another good video from Buzzsprout. Just subscribed Smells Like Human, so, looking forward to tucking into that on my down times.

      The comment section is why I tried so hard to get into RUclips despite not being interested in making video content. I really wish there was a social media aspect to some podcast platforms, discussions on episodes etc. I just moved to Spotify and the quality of listener is much better, but I feel like I have to use twitter and instagram which…meh

    • @MarkHebblewhite
      @MarkHebblewhite Год назад

      @@UntangledKnots yes 👍 you totally get it. I've just started doing YT on my business channel for that single reason, but, damn when I do a video - obviously the production time goes up massively. Works out 4:30 on the days I do my podcast, video and a short. Funny enough a 60 second short takes me longer to do than long form video or my podcast. For insta, Tiktok and Twitter I just dump up the footage from what I did for YT. I'm going to have to employ someone to do all my editing as it's getting too much, especially as I want to do it Monday through to Friday, as I do a daily workday podcast and whilst that content is in my mind I can transfer it over to video.
