Wow, this video was super inspiring! I learned that consistency is key-making episodes every day really helped grow your audience. It was interesting to see how doing more didn’t always mean better results; in fact, cutting back to three episodes a week worked wonders because it let listeners connect more with each one. Also, making sure your content has a purpose can spark unlimited ideas, which is something I hadn’t thought of before. Lastly, it hit me hard that success takes time, and staying committed is what really matters. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Dude this was very helpful. Thank you for sharing this. I’m currently doing 3-3.5k views/downloads per episode. I started a month ago but will keep going! Consistency is key. I'm leveraging my main YT channel to bring viewers to my podcast.
I’ve literally been upset about my lack of podcast downloads and thought that it meant I was doing something wrong. Thank you so much for this insight! I refuse to give up now!!!
I’m trying to stay encouraged as well. I have it up on all streaming platforms now so I hope people actually care to hear a veterans experiences in war and dealing with PTSD. It’s a major issue and needs awareness.
I wanted to stop watching your video 30sec in but i gave it a try. Glad i did ive learnt your experience of growth. Great value and thank you for sharing useful tips i learnt for myself
This is nice to hear. My RUclips name is literally my podcast. Just started season 2 and we get 20-30 downloads an episode and we put out an episode every Monday due to work weeks. My goal is to do my podcast full time so I can do something at least 3 times a week. My podcast is a unique take on podcasting, while giving the stories I promise to give my podcast has its own story and that’s the comedy part of the show. It’s basically a tv series for your ears
Consistency will be your biggest asset. I know when you’re working full-time finding the extra time to put towards your business can be difficult. But if you can do it, it’s absolutely worth it in the long run!
Aww I love this! This truly gives me hope. I have podcasts already created so that I can put something up once per week but I'm going to work on upping that to 2x/week. I have created videos on my youtube but I actually prefer creating podcasts. Love your podcast. Positivity is what is needed right now in the world. Thank you for sharing your light! 🙏💜
437 episodes? Whoa! That’s crazy impressive. I’ll be nicer to myself with only 26 episodes for my Let’s (Re)Watch it Again Podcast. Lol Thank you for your words. I feel uplifted.
This is awesome thanks! To clarify, so is the lesson to start off doing an episode a day then gradually move it down? I do a Thursday Movie pod, rain or shine and have a good social following. But I want to grow every day. Thanks for clarifying!
Bro this my dream to make it a living I’m finding my way and that what matters and consitency is key I almost gave up but number as rising!!! I can’t stop now
I gotta step my game up. I do want it but in truth, I might put an episode out a week, or I'll go without a few weeks and maybe put a couple out in a week. Definitely not consistent. I'm going to make one today. Thank you!
Hello, was curious what's your workflow to come up with so many topics weekly? Do you research all these topics and just freestyle or have key points that you want to talk about? I have a podcast also but only have 5 ep. but looking to try out your strategy where I do mostly 10 to 15min ep. Instead of the 45min interviews I been doing :-) Great content. Love it
It's a constant focus of mine. I spend time meditating to get most of my ideas. Other times it comes to me while I'm out and about. I just write it down in my notes to save it for later when that happens. If I just take it one day at a time, I know that I can do it. When I start thinking forward and wondering how I'm going to come up with ideas, I end up with that mental block. My advice would be to create a day that allows you to do what you want to do. Then all you have to do is wake up and make it through the day. Winning a day at a time for me is much more manageable than trying to win 365 days.
@@HenryGRUclips Well said, Henry! I will start doing that also taking notes. As I have all these podcast ideas but when waking up or finishing my evening walk I forgot them... Great Idea!!! That's the goal is creating a day which will allow that freedom of time. Thanks for the advice!
I just started a podcast because of you , Henry . I have 6 episodes with no plays :( but I’m going to keep going . My question is do you work a regular job as well? Because I want to quit my regular csr job so bad .
I do still work in my career. I enjoy what I do so there’s no reason for me to leave it. But there will come a time when that’s no longer the case, and I want to be prepared for it
When you were doing 1 podast a day, were they shorter like around 5-10 mins? curious on your take as far as shorter form but more qauntity compared to longer form with less quantity
@@HenryGRUclips ok, cool thanks! Also, did you do a custom thumbnail for each episode? I haven’t and didn’t think it would have any impact, but maybe it does?
Hi Henry! question, i just created my podcast and was trying to add the ads on anchor and apparently in the country that I'm in they dont have coverage for monetizing on anchor. any suggestion on what to do? another website that allows me to upload my podcast to the platforms + generate some cash with build in ads? tried vpn and it didnt work also. thanks!!!
Are your 2 podcasts a day the same one just delivered at different times? And I started my podcast Dec 2020 and I delivered a podcast a day for 6 months and then dropped to 3 a week on the same day and at the same time, but my numbers are NOT growing. Not like yours. I also use anchor to host. What advice can you give me?
@@HenryGRUclips Are you doing a lot of SEO in your play notes so people can find you easier? If that is the case do you have a video on helping us with that?
@@HenryGRUclips Lol don't mind me. I'm just a nobody who doesn't have the responsibility to grow a channel or a podcast. You're more the expert in this situation hahaha

Thats awesome! You have a strong RUclips channel so that's great that you are able to leverage that.
Would you ever want to do a collab video? We could talk about the difference between growing on RUclips VS growing through a podcast.

Does a podcast download mean a person that listened? Or does a person have to actually download the episode for it to count as a download?
It’s just a listen
Ok there's me with my 10 episodes saying no-one interested 😂 Ok..
Don’t give up!!!
When you were doing 1 podast a day, were they shorter like around 5-10 mins? curious on your take as far as shorter form but more qauntity compared to longer form with less quantity
I think a short podcast is great. People are more likely to check you out because it’s not as big of a time commitment.
Hey.... why dont we cross-market?!
What are you thinking?
Were you doing any promotion, or just uploading to Anchor? (I’m on Anchor, which is now Spotify). Thanks
Just uploading on Anchor. I haven’t done any promotions outside of that.
@@HenryGRUclips ok, cool thanks! Also, did you do a custom thumbnail for each episode? I haven’t and didn’t think it would have any impact, but maybe it does?
Hi,, which kind of marketing are you using? Do you share somewhere your podcast? Have a newsleter or paid ads? Thanks in advance!
Not yet. This is something that I haven't tried but am starting to look into. I'll do a new video on it if I find something that works.

Have you tried Speaker? I’m not sure if they will work out of United States, but they are similar to anchor.

I did two separate episodes a day. I feel that more is better, but consistency is king.

HOw did you Market ?
I haven’t done any marketing, the growth has just been through people discovering it on podcasting platforms.
How I can make money!! Ads are not available in my country
Do you have a product or service that you offer?
@@HenryGRUclips no 😊 my own music but anchor spotify blocks my podcast because I promote my music on my podcast
@@HenryGRUclips which podcast pays money to users from Belgium? Anchor definitely not 😊
I know you said majority your downloads on pple. How many of your million plus downloads from anchors listeners?
Anchor is less then 5% of my total listens. The majority comes from Spotify
