Hey Henry, loving your channel. I was curious to know how you felt about anchor subscription with spotify? I've been weary of testing it out as you cant record with recorded ads after you sign up, do you think this could affect the availability of the podcast or even the money flow?
From what I can tell, an extra ambassador ad is not guaranteed. I have found success in reaching out to them through the support chat line to get a new one set up though.

I would still recommend using Anchor. The free part of it is huge, and there’s no limit on uploads. The upside if your podcast grows is the easy ad integration. I think behind the scenes, they are working really hard to be the biggest host in podcasting.
hey, henry thanks for all you do. quick question. I got the 50 listeners but anchor never sent me the email for ambassador ads. do any way to get to turn that on? I have the option to place ads in my segment but when I publish an episode no ads are playing in the episode on Spotify, apple etc.
Hey Henry, have you used the Listener Support option on Spotify for Podcasters/Anchor where you can set it up for them to donate money? If so, is it worth it? (Don’t know if it would be worth it to set up on a smaller podcast yet). Also, have you tried Patreon and linking to a Patreon for support? Thanks man!
I have tried both, and I would say it’s easier to just keep people on Spotify versus getting them to go to your Patreon. But if there’s a lot of content you’d like to make for members, then Patreon is probably better.

I haven’t used it either. I would rather have people subscribe on a 3rd party system. That way I’m not stuck with Anchor

It seems to be very hit or miss right now. You might have luck reaching out to them through twitter

I just uploaded my first video on anchor. I add the ad to my audios but can you add it to a video?
You should be able to do the automated ads, I’m not sure about the ambassador ads though.
