I love The Cheeky CAAN. You said that if we are brazen enough, we can pull that one off. I'm totally brazen enough to do that. That's actually my style. Like you said, when I'm on the spot being asked to do a card trick, that's going to be my go-to trick for that. I really enjoy how you explain the effects. Your oral explanation is clear, and the camera focus is equally clear.
This is a brilliant series. I will start playing with some of these ideas. Keep up the good work. How do you deal with it when somebody does not choose a card that is in the stack? I realize that it probably doesn't happen often, but just in case.
Good question. What if the 7clubs was chosen, but the 7 in the stack is 7spades, as shown in the spread? Unless I'm not getting this, there's only a 25% chance of it working.
A stupid idea: If you have two decks of JAACAAN set ups - you keep a deck on the table, after showing the second deck to the spectators, you can ask them to shuffle the cards to randomise any perceived order. Then ask them to count the cards in the second deck, face down, and stop at any point they wish and look at the card. You will try to match their card at the same location on the first deck. Here they randomly selected a number and a card from a shuffled deck that was in their hand and seemingly under their control.
JAACAAN used to be my Fav version, but have since realised it wasn't the best. I now use other versions instead. I may even have the JAACAAN kicking around somewhere, if I find it you can have it!
Say do you know how many cards are in a deck of cards? Yeah some people think there are 52 51 50 49 who knows? And if they pick one of those say oh I just said that I don't want to influence you pick lower.
this really look good but what will you do if someone chooses his favorite card ( non influenced from what u show em ) and this card u dont have in ur stack ?
Like all magic, audience management is often required, so you do emphasize remember a card YOU SEE. Besides If no one ever played ball with magicians then half the tricks in magic wouldn't work!!!!
It might be more trouble than it's worth to you, but couldn't you just do a follow-up video where you lay out the cards in the stack order? It doesn't even have to be a long video because all we would have to do is pause the video for as long as we need to learn the stack. Alternatively, I also thought we could just make up a stack, since what's important is not any particular card value, but only its position in the stack. I'm not smart enough to do it, but someone who's mathematically inclined might be able to.
When you say 'they're all grubby, and only come out once a year,' are you talking about your cards? Or your friends and family? Sorry, bad joke :) Great trick though. And well taught! Thanks
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS SERIES!!!! this is PURE GOLD!

Dont the indifferent cards at the bottom and top throw the math off? Confused 🤔

Who is the publisher of the Just Another Any Card at Any Number could you possibly help?
Absolutely love this site. How do you compensate for the 4 cards on top?

Great trick- am I missing something as the 4 extra cards give you a deck of 56- does that not mess up the count?
