Brilliant tricks - first one and the second one ! You are truly a great person to have shared these amazing tricks which took years of thinking and practice by some top magicians. Many thanks for being immensely inspirational to me by showing the cunning methods. Loved all your videos those I watched - Guess I have still a lot more to watch.
I agree...remember when we were kids..or at least when I was a kid..there was this 'magic circle code'..a kind of Freemasons for magicians...I allways think they must be jumping up and down and cussing all these great youtube tutorials!..well Ha Ha to them :D
Hi. I stumbled upon your channel by pure coincidence after watching Penn and Teller. I am not a magician but one of those folks that appreciates the method as much as the effect. Card magic was always kind of "meh" for me but this video of yours showed me how much magicians control a deck, how they count and memorize cards and numbers, how they literally do a hundred things hidden...while talking and entertaining an audience! It's so awesome and I wanted to thank you for showing this and letting me appreciate card magic! Cheers, Mike
Great video. I am curisous that where can i get those kind of card box and what if audience choose the another deck of card which means u don't have time to prepare the sticker behind it.
For the first presentation, undertake any transfer when extracting the deck from the card case. That way the transfer can be made into a wholly natural action.
Thank you fore your ideas, I love them. One way to do ACAAN is to force a card to any number is with secent deal. If you are good you can even ask fore a card and secretly shuffle it to the top. Sorry about my bad spelling
I know you hate calculation, but you can make the second one "any number" fairly easily. if it's more than 26, you just subtract it from 53 and spread the cards from left to right instead of right to left. For example, they say 42, you subtract from 53, get 11, then starting with the first occurrence of their card from the BACK of the deck as 1, count 11 cards, get a break with the left hand then continue to the second occurrence. then, separating the deck at the break, pull their card out with the same left hand and hand it over, put it down as you set the right half on the table. then drop the rest of the cards on the tabled ones before putting them back in the box. that said, using the name probably makes the trick more personal and interesting anyway, so I wouldn't actually change it
came to say the same thing. just already have both marked with "PREDICTION" on one side and decide which side of the box to open depending on which card is named
Great series. A question about the first routine: not sure I understood how to mitigate every situation by just using one card. What if they say 3? Or 12? Or 1?
For 3 you have it perfect when you flip the dec k face -up as it is card number 50 if it was face-down. 12 is one less than 13 which is also perfect and 1 is the only problem but unlikely to be chosen
Very nice series. I saw an ACAAN done by Rebecca Herrera she as a RUclips of this. Did you see this. She performed this twice and had the deck shuffled both times. Never saw this version before.😊👍
Where do you get that box from? I purchased the commercial version myself awhile ago and didn’t like the jacket part because it was hard to make moves unnoticeable, thanks. Also you should have both decks set up in the same way. One having the opposite cards in case they choose one from there then you can use that deck.
as you say, "no shuffle". that's the only thing stopping it from being a true berglas effect...but it wouldn't be hard to add the ability to have the cards shuffled to it.
As its only ever a single card, as you tip the cards from the box rest a finger against the top or bottom card, once the deck is out, tip the single card left behind. You could just pull the full deck out and simply use the top or bottom card as a gesture, wave it about and say you could have picked any card and any number. Then return the card to whichever end of the deck is required. I'm sure you'll work out a way to suit you. Good Luck.
All I can say is that this is about as "thinking outside the box" as you can get for an ACCAN effect. Almost quite literally in the second one, the "Inexplicable ACCAN", where you use a card case as one of the props. As you always do, you did an excellent job of explaining the effects, but these were just not for me.
I subbed....cant wait to see if your other vids come even close to this series....fantastic lecture
Thank you for this series I loved it
Love the second one ...what a fantastic idea.
Loved all five keep it up 👍
That last one was amazing! Thank you!

Excellent explanation, as you always do. Thanks , from Caracas, Venezuela.
Thank you, I really appreciate your comments.
That's a beautiful illusion. I will be learning this ACAAN. thanks.

how about a tutorial on how to gimmick the tuck boxes? (for the effect with the card box)
Hi, any ideas about the Dorian Caudal acaan?

where can i get a 2way deck holder like that? :)
I use the grail a lot love it
Hi, you've got two sets of cards, so why not set up one for ODD choice card and the other for EVEN choice card and then use the appropriate cards?
came to say the same thing. just already have both marked with "PREDICTION" on one side and decide which side of the box to open depending on which card is named
You could just ask them to look at a card and point one of there choice.
Can you do juan tamariz acaan ?
Have you looked into the "HG Effect?"
Great series.

hi is there any way you can teach us about the bolted card escape?

My go to ACAAN is The Grail. What do you think of that one? Anyone please comment
Did I miss something? what if they pick a even card? like the 8 of clubs.
Paul Gac you missed it, check the end of the video.
How does Asi Wind perform his ACAAN? It seems really slick. Google it. No shuffle, no props, shows deck face-up beforehand.
Pure skill. He is one of the best performers of the trick, all done by sleight of hand.
as you say, "no shuffle". that's the only thing stopping it from being a true berglas effect...but it wouldn't be hard to add the ability to have the cards shuffled to it.
Question to the 2nd trick: What's if the chosen card is in the counting phase of the name??
Hi, If both halves of 26 cards are stacked in identical order then the duplicate card will never be among the counting phase. Hope that helps.
@@totallymagic ah okay, thank you
In the first one: how do you move a card from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top without being noticed?
As its only ever a single card, as you tip the cards from the box rest a finger against the top or bottom card, once the deck is out, tip the single card left behind. You could just pull the full deck out and simply use the top or bottom card as a gesture, wave it about and say you could have picked any card and any number. Nice! I will practice this thank you!
I'm a fellow ACAAN lover, i actually have 37 methods right now and still going till i get 52, i'm more into no props acaan's as well.
Whats your favorite 1so far? One you think is the cleanest
Please review Shawn Farquhar’s acaan!
get it for 10$...worth it
I wish it was a 10 part series ☹️

Thank you for your support. Yes the Card Box probably won't be one I use, but just thought it would make for an interesting variation.
Position impossible is the best ACAAN
How am I supposed to get 10 of the same card?? By the way this is amazing
buy a one way force deck (all one card) or a two-way force deck (26 of one card, 26 of another). Ebay.
Please make season 2 hahah
