Had a 010 camaro ss 6.2 put set kooks stainless headers performance cats x pipe went 10 miles on test drive almost burnt it up started smoking a/c. Line was melting dripping on headers wrapped lines with header wrap metal tie wraps no more problems
I still miss my '71 Camaro! When you start with a $100.00 (half wrecked) body on wheels and make it into a very fun drivable car over MANY years and THEN drive it for many years it's hard to let them go!
When you said the car is "rowdy," perfect! I am a die hard Ford guy but that build is something!! I would kill to do the same with a late 60's Mustang fastback. Daily, hopefully some economy and fun for miles! Love to hear your laugh, Emelia. So infectious and just great. I hope that car ends up being everything you dreamt of. I also love what you're doing to give back to help those struggling with mental health. You are a class act!
I use to drive around at lunch time in high school with a friend who had a 69 Z28. We had so much fun. I can only imagine how much fun your car is going to be. Congratulations!!!
I’d be worried about overheating the brake fluid, or even melt the reservoir. I’m not sure if wrapping the header would be enough. You could wrap it and check it with an IR temp gauge.
Holy smokes, I wanted to watch this yesterday, but a great gift from my brother brought some sad news about my cousin, and then the old family home movies that my brother restored came in my Dropbox. I spent the whole evening crying tears of joy and sadness, and decided to watch this today. What a wonderful turn!
If you are running into that issue with the brakes and they are that big, you should run DOT 4 brake fluid and you also need to bleed the brake lines. You probably have a kink or blockage in the line. Bleeding the brakes will tell. You pretty quick where the problem is. You also might want to put heat shielding around that reservoir bowl.
@grantberardi5080 did not know that. I may have missed an episode that shows that install. If hydro power, then possible issue with reservoir having to much pressure.
The blue gages are awesome and suits the gray color perfect. Don't hurry through the rest, it's such a nice thing, take the time it needs to make it perfect. It's gorgeous!!!
It would be great to see the previous owners reaction to the car once it is finished on a future video. I know you mentioned giving his grand kids a ride in it. On the video where you first bought the car, I almost felt sorry for him even though he got paid alot of money for that Camaro...
Looks awesome! Thoese hydroboosts tied into power steering can take a long time to bleed. I remember spending over an hour just going lock-to-lock on the wheel 5 times, then 3 brake pumps, checking the reservior, and repeating. Once they're bled though they work great!
Your awesome. So proud of you guys. Man watta beast of a car, great job. Hopefully hydraulics sorted sooner rather than later, safety first. You go girl!!!
That is a bad ass car. My neighbor had a 69 Camaro with a 350ci non turbo that did 11 sec QTR mile runs without NOX. I could feel the ground shake when it idled.
Hey Emelia, I would enjoy watching more of this build. Have you ever thought about taking a page from Mat or Freddy and edit together a complete build video from end to end?
Nice build Emelia! I would take that master cylinder and hydroboost and move it to the other side of the firewall, and run a shaft across under the dash from the brake pedal to actuate it. Even still, you may want to put a thick heat shield around the M.C. and hydroboost unit to keep from boiling your brake fluid. Where it's located now is almost guaranteed to boil the fluid and your great brakes will be gone.😮
Congratulations Emelia, with all the guys helping your moving quickly? My 1972 chevelle is on jack stands, similar setup, but Borg warner S256SX twins here, I'm shooting for 700 hp on 12psi LQ4 and 6psi which is were it will stay most of the time.
Emelia, that is one AWESOME Camaro!! Congratulations on Finally getting your Dream Daily Driver!! It's coming along pretty nicely and it sounds incredible. Looking forward to you getting it completed!!
I like it i like it alot! There's a 69 Camaro in my garage with a 502 but this Camaro's been in my family since it came off the showroom floor love it!
Emelia, with a properly sized master cylinder and the right pedal ratio you don't need power brakes. In fact I bet you'd prefer the feeling of manual brakes. Either Baer, Willwood or Tilten can help you set it up so that manual brakes work significantly better than hydroboost or vacuum boosted brakes ever will. Then you won't have to worry about boiling brake fluid.
1968 SSRS Camaro loving your set up getting ready to turbo charge my LSX376. Get those headers coated with (Jet Hot) 2500 degree coating, it adds 10% power.and reduces the heat byi believe is 65%. Great Car
Hi Emelia! Love your channel and love this build! Also very happy that you were able to keep your Z06! One small issue, however, is the electronic musical underscore in this video. I am autistic and the sound quality of that is such a distraction and a nuisance that I have trouble watching, even though it's not very loud. I know how much you care about mental health and I am grateful to you for it, so I thought you should know in case it rattles someone else's nerves even worse than mine. Thank you! Love and best wishes always!
IT'S ALIVE, Good Lorde that sound is absolutely obnoxiously perfection. Imop, the best build yet. Love Old school mixed with New School, Best of both world's.
My 383 headers used to overheat the starter motor until i covered a piece of aluminum with heat tape and mounted it between the exhaust and starter. Haven’t had problems since and it doesn’t look bad either.
GMC Hydro Boost Pumps are Sketch, Have a 2001 GMC 2500HD...Pump leaks bad, Hydro is Brakes and Steering combined, Not Fail Safe... Great Build, Good Luck... Pump Pulley Welds self on...
I would advise having the header ceramic coated would drop the heat near a brake booster and increase hp due to scavenging probably also a heat shield under the booster as an extra percaution. Awesome build brings a massive smile to everyone .
Please let me have it , I'm just old and I need some help Disabled old mechanic O yes I love every thing that you do,I miss hanging with cool people like you 🎉❤
Some gold foil insulation around your brake system components. Maybe have your headers ceramic coated. Tubskis are nice bnut I'd prefer a nice big superchager if not for the throttle response alone.
You might want to coat those headers especially the one next to the brake master, i think inconel coating would probably reduce the exterior heat enough to not heat your brake fluid
Just watched Grand Turismo! Great movie. The effects were good, the acting was good, the racing was great, Congratulations Emelia! I haven't bought a DVD in a long time, but this one is worth the money. I was so excited to see you on my big screen (72 inch 4k), got a lot of lens time and I'm looking forward to seeing more of you in the movies! Again. Congratulations Emelia!

You need to build an old school mustang GT. I’ve got an original 66 GT lol
1200 Hp
💥 BADA BING BADA BOOM 💥
I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE 🙌🏻
Nj'sJfJr 👍🏼💪🏼❤️🇺🇸
Builds just keep getting better in my opinion. Old school muscle with modern drivetrain is just The BEST.
I love old cars with modern power trains, brakes, etc! The best of both worlds.
Had a 010 camaro ss 6.2 put set kooks stainless headers performance cats x pipe went 10 miles on test drive almost burnt it up started smoking a/c. Line was melting dripping on headers wrapped lines with header wrap metal tie wraps no more problems
Emelia is in her "very, very happy " zone. So fun for her fans to share this experience with her. Happy Holidays to you Emelia and your crew.❤
When Emelia brightens your day ☀️
Everytime she uploads my day/week gets a little better :)
@@TweaQAUbest me to this reply brother. She always amazes me.
Yeahhh she’s dope to say the least
Straight dopamine
Now we know why GM stopped production on the Camaro, they couldn't compete with Emelia!
Love the build, an aluminum heat shield with some heat wrap on it bolted to master would keep master safe I've seen it done before
Definitely the coolest car in Emelia's collection 🔥🤘🏻🔥
Absolutely love that Camaro. And first drives are always such an accomplishment. Great work Emelia and team!
I love you and Sean and Sandy Emilia 😮😊I have three mental illnesses and I am a subscriber of the best channel on RUclips
As a Camaro fan and owner, this thing is absolutely gorgeous. What a damn brute!!
This is no longer a camaro
This episode was well produced and highlighted the dynamic of Emelia, Sandy and Sean. What a team! Great job!
Hell yeah, 1200 HP of American Freedom!!! Wtg Emelia!
TY Emelia for finding someone to operate the camera! Hiten' the BigTime!
It's still too jumpy though.
Just when I was thinking of not watching anymore, you bring the best content since your first vette
I still miss my '71 Camaro! When you start with a $100.00 (half wrecked) body on wheels and make it into a very fun drivable car over MANY years and THEN drive it for many years it's hard to let them go!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SIC!!!! Love this build and Emelia's SMILE is so big. Man you can she is so excited!!!! Love it!!
Can't beat that laugh of pure elation from Emelia. The car sounds absolutely sick!! Can't wait for the first tunnel rev!
Girl I can't get enough of your videos. Thanks for keeping us updated
Use cerakote high temp on the booster and the headers and it will dramatically lower the temperatures.
And I thought I was bad for noticing the spaghetti wires on right inner fender. It`s so f`n perfect though. One manly looking engine compartment.
Wrap both .... the header and res/booster
If it melts and leak out.. say bye to the breaks at running speed.
Have an actual shield of metal to be sure instead of just a wrap, those turbskis will probably glow red hot
Came hear today the same thing. All that heat next to the booster can’t be good for the fluid.
As always just a happy camper 🎉.
Loving what she does and sharing it with all of us ❤
Great job Emily! That’s a cool car!👍🤓🇺🇸
The smile on UR face when U started the car was priceless! ❤
You may have to have an electronic vacuum pump for your brakes, especially if your vacuum running off intake. Love the build, keep it up.
It's hydraboost, uses power steering fluid, not vacuum.
@grantberardi5080 did not know that. I may have missed an episode that shows that install. If hydro power, then possible issue with reservoir having to much pressure.
Emelia, you rock! Just keep being you!!
Can't watch this and not smile. What a car and fabulous build team. Good job everyone!
The blue gages are awesome and suits the gray color perfect. Don't hurry through the rest, it's such a nice thing, take the time it needs to make it perfect. It's gorgeous!!!
I'd be looking at mounting the booster and master cylinder under the dash away from the exhaust heat. Have seen it done on many hotrods.
Beautiful Camaro...Wish we could have seen more of the actual building and work tbh. 🙏
Would definitely love to see more !! I know long videos aren't the in thing, but I'm a sucker for a long video with great content!! ❤
Maybe you can't buy happiness... But , Emelia can build it. 😍
The issue isn't the 1200 hp, it's the maniac driving the car!
Animaniaaacsss
Emilia you are the “Unicorn” my friend I can’t imagine how much fun it would be to have had a girl friend like you! You are the best
Sandy's come a long way when he plugs merch.please say that you will send it at the track.
I think this is the Smasher, it's right in every way, sound , paint color, engine, assembly, just the best, Congratulations. Dreams Alive!!!!!
The great white shark smile. 🦈
Baby shark.
"When in doubt, Throttle out!" 🤙😎👍 just saw the movie :)
great work everyone on the camaro. sounds amazing. love to see emelia happy.
So glad you built a real hot rod. Camaro looks amazing. Love the paint.
Watching Grand Turismo you did great and looked marvelous.
You are killing it Hartford! 😊(hope to see you in a major motion picture soon)…
Smiles for miles. This has to be my favourite build it’s cool AF love it 😊
Daaaaang she’s a BEAST! Very impressive work team 👊🏼
You’re such a sweet sole! True genuine reactions everytime! Oh and love seeing Shawn in the clips longer than a millisecond. He’s easy on the eyes 😊
Hello Emeila I am not a chevy fan but I have always like the 69 z28's. Congrats on your new build looks and sounds great. Enjoy!!!!!!!! ❤❤
“everyone’s fighting a battle you know nothing about” thanks Emelia💜 and damn those are beautiful welds
It would be great to see the previous owners reaction to the car once it is finished on a future video. I know you mentioned giving his grand kids a ride in it. On the video where you first bought the car, I almost felt sorry for him even though he got paid alot of money for that Camaro...
If he lets his grand kids ride in that beast now. 🤪
Good point, considering the amount of HP
She overpaid for the car. But she wanted it and can afford to pay.
THat guy tried to scam her by unhooking the sparkplug. She better not take it back to them!
Thanks Emilia for another compelling watch…. Can’t wait to see Camaro finished and read to drive😊
My dad had a '69 SS 396. Watching your excitement with this car is so fun. Love it. You're very entertaining to watch.
That is a really nice Camaro. I love that sound ❤
Looks awesome! Thoese hydroboosts tied into power steering can take a long time to bleed. I remember spending over an hour just going lock-to-lock on the wheel 5 times, then 3 brake pumps, checking the reservior, and repeating. Once they're bled though they work great!
EmeliaHartford makes the best videos ever 😊
Great videos and builds but the videos are just way to short and with a advert in them, cuts it back to 12 mins.
The smile on your face when you reved the engine is priceless, you absolutely look like you are in your happy place behind the wheel of Sophia!!
Emelia, all I can say is YOU ARE A PIECE OF WORK GIRL 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
One heck of a Awesome build congratulations too your team and you working hard on the build.Cant wait too see the drive when it's finished up
Your awesome. So proud of you guys. Man watta beast of a car, great job. Hopefully hydraulics sorted sooner rather than later, safety first. You go girl!!!

"This might be the nastiest Camaro I've seen"
-someone who obviously doesn't know who the legend that is Mark Steilow is
Nice build Emelia! I would take that master cylinder and hydroboost and move it to the other side of the firewall, and run a shaft across under the dash from the brake pedal to actuate it. Even still, you may want to put a thick heat shield around the M.C. and hydroboost unit to keep from boiling your brake fluid. Its a death trap

Does not sound like a street car 😅. Epic build once again 👌
Emelia, that is one AWESOME Camaro!! Congratulations on Finally getting your Dream Daily Driver!! It's coming along pretty nicely and it sounds incredible. Looking forward to you getting it completed!!
I bet the old owner of this car is watching what you have done to it and wishes he could see it when it's completed! stop by and show him Emelia!
My Absolute favorite car ! Camaro Year 69 fav color with black rims (maybe black strip) What an amazing beauty!!!And 1200 horses! LFG !!!
couldn't be sketchier than that Prius test run
I like it i like it alot! There's a 69 Camaro in my garage with a 502 but this Camaro's been in my family since it came off the showroom floor love it!

The Gran turismo movie was awesome 🔥🔥
Emelia needs to give the previous owners a ride in the Camaro when it's finished
Beautiful car, you can Sandy crushed it. That gray is growing on me.
Emelia is gonna twin turbo a lawn mowner next. 😂💀💀
Never in my life have I thought about turboing a classic like that, but It looks and sounds amazing! Great job to you and your team!
Emilia and crew, y'all rock! Happy Holidays, y'all. Love the Camero. Ecrew, we out here...with love.....bbyyyyyeeeee! Peace
Try relocating the booster inside under the dashboard
I started watching her for her smile. And I ended up learning a little bit about cars.. happy holidays
Best car you got ,.I must say.
OK I'm not the biggest v8 fan but this sound even just at idle is absurdly intoxicating🤩
Finally watch grand tursimo and I have to say you were good in it Leah. Love the hair you had in the movie.
1968 SSRS Camaro loving your set up getting ready to turbo charge my LSX376. Get those headers coated with (Jet Hot) 2500 degree coating, it adds 10% power.and reduces the heat byi believe is 65%. Great Car

I love him saying, " Well, it seems like they work" while talking about the brakes!
Love what you did with it. My comment if LS Stroker bi turbo didn’t go to waste lol. Love it. Pinocchio is now a real boy xx
Emelia You Have THe Best Mechanics Working On Your Cars, & I Love A Camaro With The Hidden Head Lights Too
GMC Hydro Boost Pumps are Sketch, Have a 2001 GMC 2500HD...Pump leaks bad, Hydro is Brakes and Steering combined, Not Fail Safe... Great Build, Good Luck... Pump Pulley Welds self on...

69 Camaro one of my most favorite cars. Love the sound can’t wait to see you light it up

Awesome car Emelia!! 😍 Goosebumps !!🤗
Can't wait to see what this insane Monster can do on the tracks!!! Keep doing yup thing...👌💯
I would suggest having all the hot parts (exhaust and turbo) ceramic coated to trap all of the heat inside the piping
