Restoration of a rare 1930 Duke Double Calendar Mechanical Watch

  • Today I show you this antique Duke branded wristwatch, case 33 mm, with an unusual calibre never seen before. It is a derivative of the Judex 120, I think it is the Judex 126 equipped with a double calendar, I have not found certain information on the Internet. The watch is made by Ebauche-Manufactur Judex, a French company, dating back to around the 1930s. It didn't work and in addition to a complete service, the hands were replaced which were not original and were not right for this calibre. The crown has been replaced even if this is temporary, I am looking for a crown from the time of the watch. Finally the complete balance was replaced due to the breakage of the balance staff.
