Here in 2022. 2:35 ... Lin had shown many times during Linsanity where to position himself to intercept a pass as he had shown here. He did the same during the famous Laker game early on after that scuffle at the center line ... & also that Mav's game where he intercepted a pass & made a dunk ... & also during a Philly game intercepting a quick pass in the paint, & etc etc. All this while still being a rookie in 2011-2012, because I know some people in the comments here were saying that Parker got the better of Lin, yet they forget that Parker is the "12th grader" while Lin was the "1st grader" here. Or even if they said "2nd grader", that's still nothing, as it is still far off from a highs chool senior, lmao. What's phenomenal was Lin was doing really well those 2 months in NY, hence both the global & the pro history he made there ... for being a rookie underdog that came out of nowhere ... & of course also being Asian, simply because of overwhelming NBA player demographics (plus, Yao Ming was already long gone).
People compared Rubio to Nash this season, and in terms of sheer playmaking genius, yes, but I reckon Lin's tendencies and overall skill set actually resembles Nash much more.
How many point guards average 16.6 pts, 6.4 ast, 3.1 reb, 1.8 stl in their second year? Not many! His rookie and second year combined hasn't been a full season, this is like his rookie stats. You look at those numbers and that's a future all star in the making.
It seems like Jeremy Lin plays more comfortable and better with Melo in the bench. This is the reason why they won those past 7 games. I really want them to win so badly but if this keeps happening, they're never gonna win the playoffs.
I wouldnt be surprised if Duncan retires if they win it this year. Parker still has a few years, he just turned 30, and Ginobli depends on if he can stay healthy. BUT, they are grooming their younger players who have responded well..that is why they are so deep.

when you say inconsistant jump shot i dont get it this dude has hit alot of clutch jump shots as a starter and he can make every shot he can shoot off the dribble which alot of point guards in the league cant do, he has a three point shot , he has a mid range game and he has a floater he has every shot one of the few players in the league that has that and he is only a second year player
