  • The Knicks take on the Pacers at Indianapolis away from MSG to conclude their home-home game with the Indiana Pacers. Coming off of a win the previous night, the Knicks managed to play a good game with the Pacers and take a second consecutive win over the Pacers, leading to a 3rd consecutive win under Mike Woodson. Jeremy Lin had a team high score of 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block to show that Linsanity still lives on.

    You see, the thing I love about Lin is that he's an all around amazing player. He's a kind/respectable guy both on and off the court and that really makes him a role model. He's also talented but not as talented as some of the elite point guards but he has a very high basketball IQ meaning he knows what he's going to do with the ball and how to go about it, which makes him an incredible player. Lets go Knicks!

    Had Anthony not been so insecure the team with Lin could have been great. Sad that such a great player like Carmelo lacked confidence in his game and leadership.

    Who said Lin can't play defense? Those people never actually watch Lin play and just read biased articles or listen to whatever nonsense Stephen A Smith says. Just watch the game with your own eyes

    All that was missing from that Knicks team was a solid and healthy Point Guard. Mike Bibby and Baron Davis were both at the end of their careers and injury prone. Toney Douglas and Iman Shumpert weren't consistent, with Toney having a horrible shooting year. In comes Jeremy Lin firing on all cylinders while Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony were recovering from their own injuries. All they needed was to put their ego's aside, and they could have contended in the East for a couple of years.

    They played like the best team in the NBA. If they had stayed healthy
    1.They would have been the 6th seed (faced the Pacers in the1st round instead of the Heat)
    2.They would have taken the Heat to AT LEAST 6 games.

    Lin was So amazing! I reckon the years after this with different teams Lin could have done the same with lots of playing time and letting him run the offense. But that's Not what happened. Everything clicked when he was with New York!!

    Carmelo was more interested in being The Man then winning games in his younger days. Probably why he doesn’t have a ring yet. Maybe now he’s older and shares ball he can win with Lakers.

    I don't think Melo personally hates Lin, but it's possible he finds it difficult to share the spotlight with someone who came out of nowhere so quickly. I think he really did make an effort to work with Lin at least initially, but it just didn't work out in the end

    • @sicnarf6971
      @sicnarf6971 8 лет назад +6

      lin plays better without superstars (melo, harden, kobe)
      especially superstars that like to hold the ball for long times for NO reason. and superstars that can't play consistent defense
      I think he'll also play better without kemba (not a superstar... but ball dominant) also

    • @mohamedabib0
      @mohamedabib0 8 лет назад

      +Sic narf he could play with a dominant power forward that doesn't post the whole time like blake

      Cocoabutter
      Blake is perfect.. and deandre... clippers should try to pick him up for back cp3 haha
      I'm hoping spurs pick him up.. would be perfect

    • @TiFan86
      @TiFan86 8 лет назад

      +Sic narf kinda hoping he go back to the Warriors. He be perfect back up scoring point guard. I've noticed with the second unit for the Warriors they have troubles sometimes getting the offense from the bench Lin being a true point guard who can create his own shot I feel would fit in nicely.
