Thanks man! No amp, or pedals. Just plugged directly into a m-audio fast track pro, and used guitar rig 5. :)
They are not just practice guitars they sound great in any situation,they are just a scale option...

He’s referring to the length of the scale on the guitar. (The length from the edge of the nut to the bridge)

I’m looking an 80s looking guitar to play some 80s music. Can’t afford a charvel. Would this be a good option? Would whammy be ok to use?
It's not a full sized guitar so that's something you'd need to see if you can put up with, and no whammy on this guitar either. Great guitar for the money though, and plays surprisingly well out of the box.
You sound like you have some Satriani influence.
