When the group is all connected everything is good. Getting connected is usually the hard part, so I'm glad to see Sena making an attempt at making this easier. However, this still seems like it's so much work and effort on our part. Really would like to see you guys continue to make the user experience more simplified. Also, please update the outdated design of the apps!
Sena my 30k won’t connect in the Sena utility app any ideas what could cause that the Sena is connect to my phone working like it should the Sena 30K app works fine but the Sena utility doesnt
if this feature uses smartphone to pair, why there are only 3 pairing slots for 10S? Why the app cannot remember any amount of paired devices and let user to pick which 3 devices to save on 10S memory?
SOLVED : The Sena Utility app would crash when I tried pairing my 2 Sena Pi units using the QR-based Smart method (SIP). The problem - they were on and paired with my phone. Turning them off let the app work as intended. It seems the app merely stores the pairing info and provides it using the QR code, so the pairing is essentially done offline and/or "pre-paired" within the app, and transmitted to the device on next pairing. Then the quick-tap intercom-start became active between the 2 Pi units. A bit odd and frustrating that Sena didn't say the Pis must be off.
Senas system is so over complicated. Should be simply: press button to connect to phone app and then do everything in the app. Im 35 and its too complicated to remember..
So if silver goes home, white can't talk to black or red. This happens to us all the time mostly because the last rider is too far back and breaks the chain.

I get the following text. “If your headset cannot be connected with this app, please update your headset to the latest firmware version.” The SENA RideConnected app (v1.1) works but is very limited.
I could listen to music before. I reset my phone today. Afterwards, I wanted to connect to the helmet again. However, the blue light on the Bluetooth does not turn off. Even though I press the buttons, the blue light does not turn off. Bluetooth Outrush R v1.1.3 appears on the phone, but it does not connect. I am waiting for your help.
This process for for more than 4 riders? Mates and i have issues when their a big group of us trying to connect either someone is left out or other drop and wont reconnect
Hi. The Smart Intercom Pairing feature makes it easier to pair up to 4 riders together. Connecting everyone together needs to be done manually through the app or on the headset itself. For more than 4 riders, the need to be paired using the same method as instructed in the User's Manual and need to be within range of everyone as a whole. Thanks.

Are you going to put the mesh intercom into the Shoei or just leave it as Bluetooth? I'm not happy with going back to Bluetooth when I upgraded my helmet so should I be looking elsewhere?
Bought a HJC helmet with their sena 50b.. expensive but was willing to pay premium for it being integrated...upon installation the sena doesn't pair to the APP at all. tried Resetting everything, reinstalling, updating.. and it turns out there is no updates available for 50b HJC ... upon reading forums there are many people struggling with this... Official response from Sena about why there isn't any updates is that HJC hasn't requested any updates.. HJCs response is that Sena hasn't provided any updates.. and after a long time the software version on sena 50b is still a V1.0 .. absolutely ridiculous..both companies playing ping pong game... don't buy..also my friend has had their 50s faulty (failing to update with error code).. had 4 sets getting the same error...and had terrible experience with customer service... If you still can.. get cardo...or anything but sena

I know the presenter is speaking English but I can't understand a single word of the explanation! This would not convince me to purchase a "SENA" product. It is simply too complicated to use.
Highly overrated brand and excessively complicated menu . Just bought a poorly designed SRL2 , and couldn't pair it to an Android phone. I regret now the buying decision. ( Disclaimer: i was forced to buy the SLR2, due to a Shoei GT Air 2 helmet i have received as a present)

Then power it back on and place the headset into Mobile Phone Pairing again then wait for the SRL2 to appear in the Bluetooth menu on your Android phone. This is inside of the existing apps. Smart Intercom Pairing has been added inside of the apps as another way to visually see and organize pairings.

Disable the VOX on the intercom. Go into Settings with the unit plugged in to your computer.
Restart the device...
