Got a Lariat Ultimate Tremor 7.3 a few months ago. Really liking the truck and interior. Put the Gator hard folding cover on from Real Truck. Very pleased and tows our 42' 15k fifth wheel very well. Enjoy your new truck!
During that I spy moment. I thought you were gonna remove the red FX4 logos and put the subdued ones on.. I was wrong.. truck looks really good with all the mods you did.
@@saltytrips I would love to have the darker fx4 decal but I could never get them on straight, so as soon as it gets warm here in the midwest I will just remove them. I spent my points on the factory mud flaps :)
@@seagullsbtn appreciate the input , hopefully it will help someone on here but I never go to Ford for anything except warranty work. Only reason I got this stuff was because already had point otherwise I probably would have went aftermarket on Amazon.
I got the same ones and was able to get it to work with smaller screws but needed a second set of hands helping. Really should come with the longer screws but otherwise very happy with them.
When I bought my 24 Ram 3500 I was a little bummed it didn't have 5th wheel prep so I did the B&W along with the Curt plug & am glad I went that route instead especially if I do a Goosebox, their offset ball is pretty nice. I have the same hard cover, it kinda sucks bc the side seal puckers where it folds.

Love the upgrades, ordered the center console cover using your link. Thank you. Mine did come with the hitch prep but to me the rear wheel liners should be on every truck not a factory add on. How much was the spray in liner (total that it would have cost)? I have a bed rug (bottom only) and love it but that liner looks nice on the sides.
@@OmahaWayne definitely agree on the wheel well liners, should be standard, its just molded plastic. Our portion of the bed liner was only $200, dealer paid the rest. If it wasn’t for the dealer I would have just put the old rubber mat from the F250 in it.
@@saltytrips Thanks for the reply. I will probably still hold on to my factory set for now but when they need replacement I will look at yours for sure.
You should have just got a Tremor if that's what you wanted. I like the factory tires and the bigger air dam for towing. I'm not taking my 5th wheel offroad. Also, you may get a ticket putting that plate in the back only. Usually trucks are required to have the plate in the front because towing. If you have no plate visible you are going to get pulled over. At least that's the law in my state Missouri.
@@saltytrips I thought the Tremor upgrade was around 4k. Take your tires, valence, and the FX4 package cost and you are nearly there. Not to mention you get all the goodies Tremor provides. Your truck looks great and you will love the LineX.
@ tires were less than $2000 sold the stock for $1000 valance was free and FX4 was 450. Im only out $1,400 no were close to $4000 which is $5k over the course of a loan. Besides we are not interested in this truck sitting any higher than it already is, I would then have to make some big adjustments to make our 5th wheel ride level. You want the Tremor have at it, pretending the mods we did even came close to that extra cost is ludicrous.
@@saltytrips That was one of the two things that pushed me away from the tremor on this purchase. Then 17-19 superduty sat higher then the supersuty's before (same height as tremors today). I spent a lot of time and money to lower the back end by putting small blocks then change out the front springs to non-snow plow rated ones. All in an attempt to get the 5th wheel to ride more level. It worked for the most part but when I traded it in for the 21 I was sure glad to see they lowered the trucks back down. The other was the weight of all the skid plates (i would never use) pulling from my payload. However I am already looking for tremor wheels for the truck because I am not a fan of the 20" tires. The 18's on my 21 rode much better then these 20's do IMO.
