    Suzuki Gsxr 600 Make over/maintenance day..In this video I am giving my Suzuki Gsxr 600 a touch up that includes replacing the side carbon fiber panel piece that was cracked and is now fixed. I also repaint my M4 Exhaust and show the process of sanding, priming, and painting! Towards the end of the video I lube the chain and also give the motorcycle a good cleaning and give the paint a good wax. I also put tire shine on the tires of the motorcycle(I don't recommend doing this) I accidentally get tire shine on the wrong part of the tire and I have quick solution to resolve that by doing a burnout at the end of the video!

    Spunky Tip - apply chain lube to the inside of the chain and the centrifugal force will carry it to the outside - that's the theory any way - On the other hand the rotation of the chain will move the lubricant around the o rings if applied to the outside so just get some lube on the cleaned chain - good job.

      Thanks for the tips! I’ve heard of a lot of different ways to do it. The main thing is like u mentioned just make sure it gets on the chain thoroughly. Thanks for watching and dropping some info! I appreciate that

    I was using WD 40 just like u same bike but750-2018, until it caused the kickstand sensor buts to rattle loose , riding uphill kicking down to first gear before a curve the engine shot off Scary but never fell off so just check those two kickstand sensor bolts maybe put some Loctite 🤓

    Be careful with clearcoat, It can yellow up from the excess heat, not sure how it looks over black tho.

    i’ve heard mixed things about using wd40 on a motorcycle chain.. do you use it for cleaning or lubing ?

    • @SpunkyBoyy
      @SpunkyBoyy  Год назад +2

      I wouldn’t recommend using it..I only bought it because the day I was going to buy lube the motorcycle shop was closed. That’s not regular WD40 that’s gel lube WD40, so it works but not the best option. Whenever I clean my chain I use kerosene it works really well.
