I find similar success with hitting a switch while blocking the knee with the arm. Works great on front headlock as well

@Mack Paine it's called a peek out from front headlock. I usually hit it same side but you can go to the other side as well. There's also drag outs.
Teachmegrappling goes over it pretty well.
