I'm with you. I don't like using Crossfader either. I think it's much better fading the new track in and EQ ing out the other track too. I still can't see what Roll is doing to the sound though...I'll have a play tonight..I think it sounds great having two tracks playing but I use sync as I need practice with the platters.. Try Peter Pahn - Go plus MRPHLNDR - The devil & the dirty bird (ext) with echo loud.sounds mint!!.
Nice mix! The second transition, however, is a great example on why you shouldn't rely on sync so much (at about 2:40). The beatgrids aren't perfectly aligned, so you can hear the kicks clashing. If you're used to sync, try using it to line the songs up, then disable it and just slightly nudge the non-dominant track forwards/backwards, so they don't clash anymore. Gotta use all the modern features we have, including sync, but we have to learn to use them correctly!
Great track selection but the mixing is horrible 😢
All transitions are not on the rigth time. Consolations the synch button work Perfect ❤ tracks are in synch but not on time for mixing😮.

I’m always worried the sync button would fail but it seems to work here, taking out the need to beat match, but I’m old skool so will probably not use it. Love this mix though. 🙌🏼👏👏🙌🏼

4:42 c’est le genre de musique qui ce prête au scratch et au cut je trouve, dommage que n’utilise pas cet option plutôt que de faire que du mix .. sinon les morceaux sont sympa 😊

Yeah I noticed that too. Fairplay good mix, good use of loops and hot cues, but @ 5:44 I saw both tracks "sync lead". didnt ruin the mix for me cuz i grew up in the 80s but got a lot less cool, 20+ yr dj here, stopped playing out. But cant get away from mixing.

😂😂 I know, I know... I just started, I got my first DJ controller a short time ago, all the videos I upload are my practice that I do with it, once a week. I'm a noob. Learning.

@@mcgritty8842 Who cares? Let us see him evolve. Not everything you publish have to be clean, perfect. If he finds joy in publishing practicing that's what matters. You can go watch something else if you don't like to see a beginner.
