It's sexual harrassment whether Lee (or anyone) publically says it is or not. Remember he is in the uncomfortable situation of trying to keep his private life private and not burn bridges in a very who-you-know business, and like many people, probably has to "laugh off" things that he really didn't find funny at all. Besides, even if someone says it's nbd, but everyone else can see they're being taken advantage of -- like example : with a drunk person, a child, an employee, adult-student, or kohai in a lesser position of authority, etc. etc. -- does that actually mean there's nothing problematic happening? Meaning (for the sake of idiots like you) that him being gay is completely irrelevant as you could just as easily replace him with some random straight man off the street and *NOTHING* about the entire point being made *by* the hypothetical changes in the least.
#2. Gay people *CAN* still physically sexually assault women.
So even if Lee Pace, personally, *wouldn't* do it, he still categorically possesses the *physical capacity* TO do it. Which means that the hypothetical still stands completely unmoved by your ignorant comment.

Any touch or physical contact must be cleared by both parties in a scene (improvisation too must be cleared like what are your boundaries and what are you comfortable with and not comfortable with) and blocked and explained by an intimacy coach. These are professional actors who often have lives outside of acting like having partners and families. This is a massive violation on any film set let alone a sag union job.

Any movement that seeks to bring us towards a better status quo needs to be careful of women like her. Yes, women have been dealt a shitty hand by society, both today and in the past, and feminism has been a necessary part of combatting those injustices so that we can have equality. Mindy, as she so clearly demonstrated here, does not give a shit about equality, she just wants it to be her turn on top. She’ll gladly talk shit about the status quo like in her new Velma show, but if her problem with the status quo was with injustice itself, THIS wouldn’t have happened. No, her problem with the status quo isn’t that there’s someone on top punching down on someone below, it’s that she’s not the one on top often enough.
