      A point I want to make is (not sounding like a psychologist or Dr. Phil) when you have behavior like Ronald where you're
      arrogant, vain, egotistical, narcissistic, fame-hungry, money-hungry, unsympathetic, conceited, self-obsessed, and insensitive
      it generally and overtime destroys your intelligence and skills because a person like Ronald devotes all his energy
      and memory to things he wants as opposed to things he needs. So in time people like Ronald are destined to go down
      a road to an unsuccessful life.

    I would move out of that apartment when he finishes school into a 2-bedroom and tell him he’s not coming with us. That gives him a few months to get his life in order and shock therapy would be good for this boy...a reality check.

    • @RMBlake007
      @RMBlake007 2 года назад +2

      I agree that it would have been greatly beneficial for this kid to have a male figure in his life, but mothers can provide discipline, structure, and good life skills as well. My mother did that much better than my father. She taught us that life is not fair, that decisions have consequences both good/bad, the value of money, hard work is a virtue, integrity is #1 importance, and being poor doesn't mean you earn the right to be sloppy/dirty. She also stressed that we must not base decisions and commitments on "feelings"; rather they must be made on the values I already listed. Unfortunately, women tend to be more "feelings" based and therein lies the problem. I'm glad that my mother had a great balance between the love of a mother and the practical side of a father.

    It's okay to spoil your kids once in a while but there has to be a limit. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I be feeling guilty when I ask my mom for stuff. I don't really ask for a lot but sometimes I feel guilty when she gets me something nice that I didn't ask for.

    This kid is almost an adult. His mother created this problem by being his enabler. I hope and pray Mom puts her foot down and parents this entitled brat by taking back the master suite in her home and giving this child a bedroom with the bed, non-designer clothing, and other essentials. Mom needs to insist he get a job so he learns how to work hard. Mom needs to sell the designer clothing, the TV, the car, & other non-essentials to recoup some of the money and to send a strong message that there are consequences for the bad behavior. When this kid gets out in the real world, he is going to be slapped with a rude awakening.

    If he enjoys fashion to such an extent, learn to sew! Design your own clothing and make it! It will be worth so much more emotionally, on a skill basis, self esteem etc.
