  • Hey everyone, its Patch Day!
    Besides the battlepass, a new gem and some changes to loss of control for pvp, the Diablo Immortal Devs adjusted a lot of skills and legendary essences.
    I looked into this modifications today, tested them and what they hold for you, check out this video!
    Skills: Furious Charge (Screaming Fury), Throw (Grab and Dash), Hammer of the Ancient (Breakers), Cleave (Axes, Channelling)

    I think for Svot's Reach they changed the CD to 6s that it matches the CD of the normal spell, since every essence is its own item they needed to change Svot's to match the CD of the standard Skill

      Lets assume it is like this xD in general i get the idea that every skill modification has separate cooldowns. But yea, i hoped for separat skill xD

    I had off topic question
    i just changed from Everlasting torment lvl 10 to Igneous Scorn lvl 5
    just wana know if its viable for pve ?
    also does Seeping bile Stack with Viper's bite?
    do i need to replace them ?
    I play as a barb pve only/f2p

      Hey Kara, tbh I like Torment more then scorn. I get the idea that both proc on crit, but Torment can hit every enemy while scorn just deals an AOE every six sec (?). But yea more resonance in the end. Still Rank 10 Torment would be my choise. If you want to build up reso for PvE: pain clasp, fang, lament, vipers, even the new gem from battlepass.
      Viper and bile deal independent damage, so yes they stack. When going for bile, vipers and Torment you will have a very nice burst for lions Mane with the Terror helmet. An Open world monster you will be ^^

    Hey, I noticed that Grab is "failing" in PVP sometimes (literally the word "Failed" pops up).
    You think Potency plays a role somehow? I doubt it but it seemed so random. If it's used against someone immune to control it will say so. But "Failed" is a very strange wording to use.
    Do you know anything about this? I haven't seen it with Hewer I don't think but Grab had it happen multiple times tonight in a single BG. I was matched with people that were way stronger than me so that's what made me think about Potency.
    Maybe it can be Blocked but it says Failed instead? Maybe it's just a miss? But I would think it would say miss.
    Idk, thought I'd see if you knew anything.

      Very interesting, unfortunately i didnt experience it yet. But Grab related to potency sounds very reasonable. Like a stun can fail, I think this can happen too. The word "failed" Is funny ^^

    I ran Hewing Grab last night in BGs. The control and turning is SO much better. I slam dunked a bunch people. Top 3 in 3 matches baby! And yeah now we have 2 CC immunities! I definitely felt less CC'd.
    And I wasn't getting tons of kills this way, but I was getting plenty of assists and was keeping multiple opponents occupied easily.
    Channel Cleave is EXTREMELY powerful. It was putting out huge DPS with 2 piece Seeds. I still feel like it's a clunky skill. The targeting isn't very good, it feels weird and sometimes when I think I'm facing something I see some hits aren't landing. It needs a tighter cone that is also visible so we can see EXACTLY where it will hit. It needs the range % shoulders built in I feel also.
    They may be referring to the Inf4 HoA off hand. Since it technically has 3 pieces of graphic, initial hit, the ground graphic showing something is about to proc (I want MOREEE skills that we can telegraph. There's a lot but also so much more happening in PVP we can't see or see easily. That's a big tanget though)…then the explosion...
    I believe the patch brought Charge back to an equal footing with Leap just in different ways. W
    We can open up another essence slot depending on which dash we want also so it affects builds beyond the change to the skill itself.

      What are serrated chains? Meaning serrated spears with bleed, or sweaping spears for the cc?

      Hey, ty! :) Charge in PvE? Not rly. Leap has the great benefit to reduce cd for every full hp enemy you hit. With the new metal omine essence it's far better in pve then charge.

      Thanks! I was just wondering given the new charge essence buffs
      you mentioned being more viable in PVE than PVP, but it sounds like just not using it all its still the best move. :)

      I think for dungeons in a build where you focus on two ancients summons the use of the rams(?) that one that collects enemies, could be good. Combined with sundered wrath and outlask sprint helmet in a frenzy main Handy (incl. Twin) with berserk dmg shoulder is a viable thing. You are fast, collect enemies in front of you to burn them and hit em hard with twin fangs firestorm proc. While that two ancients help you killing bosses. Could work.
