- Hey my Immortal Nerds! As promised I have a new awesome build for you for our most favourite class the barbarian. With the new essences crazy things happening to our whirlwind resulting into competitive builds for the current primary attack meta and transform us into a cool beyblade.
The stuff im going to show you is absolutely awesome and 100% allround for nearly every PvE content. 3Mio Dmg peaks for Raids, no problem. Super fast farming, no problem. Survivability for challenging content... No problem.
Let me show you how to get there.
Legendaries used: Ox Horns, Fallow Field, Indignant Survivor, Falling Thunder, Battlemasters, Cliff Divers, Selenas iron, Roar of Persuasion

Hey bro do u have Paragon Builds too .
Well, no setups I can share (just getting priority armor pen > armor > resistance > damage > potency/HP (dependent on the build). For PvP im now 100% on warden. For all Primary PvE builds = weaver. For whirl builds PvE farm = treasure hunter, for whirl dungeons / raids = Mastermind.

I get dmg then armor pen then armor/potency as ~2k reso, but focus on magic (secondary stats) like crit chance hard and it pays incredibly well....not playing barb atm but can get all i think and i value hp last, as I don't care to pvp when it is the way it is so I can outdmg most people whale or not. My wins ha
These essences just brought back the barbs from icu to life. I am really interested to see a battle between barb and blood knight now.

Got the builds sorted. My gems are high reso. Tweaked on them. For Shade and Gloom, slotted in Void and Maw. Need to consider a better one than Maw. Concentrated Will is nice w/ Leap. Getting 2M sustained DPS with occasional 3-4M spikes on the dummy. Was able to get past the next CRift level with the survivor build. My Seeds gear is low w/ no good magic. More tweaking to do. Thanks for these great builds. You are our Barb master!
That sounds cool. Ya concentrated is nice, but 1star berserk or unyielding will still outperform 5stars until rank 5 or something.
@@CRAINE-Plays yes. I would go that route however I’m fortunate and my 5’s are all r10 w/ the internal gems filled in too. Lots of “extra” bonuses from those + the base dg.

Yes I'm looking into it already. Have it on R6 and will check if that 17% att speed are worth it compared to 16% DMG. Initial test = nrly the same dmg output. But cant really tell why ^^ need to test further.

this build plus 2 star gem igneous scorn plus mother lament (28% plus crit hit chance) plus 6 pieces of Banquet of eyes set (plus 28% crit hit chance) is OP

3 days ago I became a barb because of the new ww essences. I've been a crusader since day 1 and it's refreshing looking for the essences but I really want to get the essences for the build! Thanks for the vid!!!

Primary attack can still reach heavy dmg counts but will never be as fast and usefull in ow/ endless. So Raids and inis are still cool for primary. I think whirl is easier to access for most players.
Hey Craine, great Videos :) I have a Suggestion, Banket dont work with the whirl, is 2er Flagi not the better choice ? another 15% whirldamage more?
Hey Ivo, why do you think banq doesnt work? U have ur vipers + ox. Both trigger Banquet. But yes Flagellant is in this case as good as Banq.

Hi there! First i want to thank you for the great great video! Very detail summary of the build. Just one QUESTION? Are these required legendaries only available at a certain difficulty level or can you get them right from the start at hell 1???? I hope someone can help :)
Hey Alex, the whirl main hand and chest are available at inferno5. Before that you have to go with Bitterwind combined with sundered Legacy.

Can I ask on your legendary gear some pieces are purple around the border, what is that I take it there’s a bonus if so how do I get it?

Its awakened gear (rank10 gem slottet) and then you need a dawning echo to awaken that slot of gear. As soon as you now have a rank 10 gem slottet u get an extra bonus like normally 10% dmg on that essences skill or 10% CD. It doesnt get lost when you equip a lower gem.

Hell yeah brother, I been rocking this (more or less as much as I can).
The 1star gem unyielding was suprising for me. 3 1star gems for max DMG. Crazy.

@@CRAINE-Plays Your statement about the Seeds ramp up, I tested it at one point but I don't remember exactly what I found but I think it was something like 3 hits.
Any channel skill, 1st hit is 10% 2nd is 20% 3rd hit is the max 30%.
So you're right about how fast it ramps up. Probably faster! It's virtually instant in practice which is a good thing to note.
Cursed set I've neen using Nettled with my Cat pet because it is a 16% more DMG taken and moves with me compared to Detested since it's based off my cat shield.
And I don't know if you've used a cat so forgive me, but it doesn't work like the description says (of course what else is new).
It doesn't explode at the end, it's a retaliation shield. Any time a mob hits you DMG all enemies around you and debuff them for 16% with constant pulses.

Hey mate. Have you investigated further on the primary attack reforge bonus? Skill dmg would surely beat this?
Ya skill dmg is best for this build. Still i wouldn't kill primary attack. Its still very important for pvp. Even for whirl builds i still see it to spread bleed from primary lacerate.

It is the roar of Persuasion offhand wrath essence. 20% life leech:)
What are the sets? I dont really understand.. What are their names?
how are you healing when using whirlwind or does that just come with the essence?
Yes, new offhand essence that grants 20% life drain
What paragon is best for pve ? That now we can't do weaver ?
I think it is Mastermind for dungeons / Raids and Treasure Hunter for OW / Endless for more orbs.
Other content creators like @ECHOGamingDiablo should look at your videos as an example or get some extra tuition from you. One of your videos helps the barbarian community more than 10 of their videos. Keep on doing great stuff!

Question: does 4pc vithu increase the damage frequency of this ww, as it has no channeling bar. I guess 4pc seeds has no effect on this ww, but does 2pc seeds?
Yes it boosts the attack animation, we whirl faster. And 2ps seeds works awesome. 4pc seeds works too. When you stop whirling you deal a heavy crit blow. If you don't stop whirling it gets automatically triggered after 10s.

More DMG per second, you whirl faster but move in same speed.

With whirl I go with Mastermind :)
Does the pants Crit chance stack with the chest Crit chance?
Yes, still it is not visible as chest is only for whirl crit and not shown in your attribute sheet.
What're your stats, ( CR, reso)? Cause that can make the difference between doing your dps and only doing about half of your dps
Hey Odin, you are absolutely right. One remark. 3 1star gems used here and void can be used as aux. So no big reso hidden and accessible for nrly all players. The question is, does it work better then your current gear ;)
So I play PvE at approx 2800 Reso and have enough Reso for last i5 boss.

Where do you put the legendary gems on? Want to make sure everything is set up right!!
You mean because of Awakenings? Whirl dmg first (main hand, shoulder), CD demo next (helmet), CD wrath last (offhand)
@@CRAINE-Plays I was talking about where the gems go in the equipment we are wearing or does it matter. I am just learning things and love the builds you have.
Nope it doesnt matter :) they count for all of your actions as soon as they are equipped. When they are upgraded to rank 10 you can awaken that part of equipment in Westmark. Then gut another bonus and then it gets inportant on which slot you have rank 10 gems and on which not. But until then, doesnt matter :)
Can bitterwind be combined with the new main hand essence ? Does it stack or not ? I’m missing pants and main hand
Btw I’m not sure if 4 vithu affects your spinning speed
No it doesn’t stack
No stack as both transforms the skill itself but thats ok. Dmg output is already cool and we can pimp the leap now. And yes vithus boost attack speed and therefor attack animation. You whirl faster :) this is tested of course.

Cat! The shields from main skill and Knockback immunity additional skill are the best for barb.
How do you equip 8 pieces of green gear?
At inferno 3 or 4 think you get 2 additional slots

Check min 13:15 and find build variations :)
How to fast increase combat rating?
Legendaries and sets mostly. Run random dungeons and search for tripple stats (they have highest cr). Do your daily chores with monster essence, bounty, tripple battleground, clantower and sandstorm event to get as many leggies as possible. And push your challenge rifts to get upgrade material for sets and farm ow for upgrade material for legendaries.... So fast? Idk, tripple stats first i would say.

Why 4pc vitus? I thought you dont need attack speed since you're not using basic attack..
4 piece vithu gives 30% atk speed (more primary atk speed and faster animation). so it also buff dmg of channelling skills like disintegrate/whirlwind
Yes, it boost the attack animation. So we whirl faster with it.

Difficult! Still working on that.
I like this build but it averages 1 mill dps @ 1 min, whilst the frenzy primary attack build averages 1.75 million over 1 min.. I really wanted this to be my new main build :/
Measuring dmg over 1min is never a good idea ^^ . There is not situation in this game where you slash 1min on an enemy. Burst ist imoortant. 3s for ow packs, 6s for dungeon bosses, 10s for raid bosses. The dmg Output for that times is relevant :)
Builds are great and all but it all really comes down to gear let's be real
Hm, as always it's a combination. Playstyle, gem lvl, stats & build. Builds makes 50% imo.
This still s tier?
For PvE? Yes :) you can choose between whirl, new freeze or oustlak build for pve. All three producing similar results. If you focused on skill dmg and a chilled build - whirl. If you want to be at max speed - oustlak. And If you want the enemies to be stunned bc you take a lot of damage - freeze. Check my Videos "one for all" and "winter is coming" for those builds :)
I had big hope for this ww buff they announced … yet … the dmg is so weak even with all the buff , primary still the best way for me …. If we could only mix ww with old ess or used sunder legacy with new offhand
Agreed. It sucks we can't use mainhands and offhands together that transform a skill

What are your thoughts on tear of commet rm2 star gem its good for this build?
Soooo sad. Have it on rank10. Its not good :( takes the full second until first two missiles. Yes the range is ok and it's auto targeting. But the dmg is low and to get 4 missiles .. everything is already dead or gone. I used the gem power now for different gem. So much potential, so sad it was implemented poorly.
