Hey friends!
There is nothing I love more in the warmer months than a refreshing, flavorful smoothie bowl topped with nuts and fruits to provide amazing texture 😍
Here are 3 unique smoothie bowl recipes I really enjoy, in case you want some more diversity in your breakfast.
I used a scoop of protein powder in two of these recipes because I do go to the gym and want to up my protein, but you can substitute it for about 2 tbsp of oats if you don't want to add protein (you will achieve the same creamy texture) 👌
Also on the topic of protein I just want to mention that you don't need a protein supplement on a vegan diet, because you get more than enough even if your macros are 80/10/10, it is just recommended to eat more protein if you want to build muscle efficiently and quickly (which is why my macros are 60/20/20) 👍💪

00:06 GINGER PEAR SMOOTHIE BOWL
This is a cinnamonny, gingery, creamy pear smoothie bowl colored pale green with some spinach and topped with crunchy oats, dried goji berries, and my favorite nuts: cashews!
This bowl is seriously mouthwatering and visually on point, so I highly highly recommend you try the flavor combo 👌
» 2-3 small pears (or about 1 1/2 large pears)
» 1 banana
» 1/4 cup of frozen spinach (or a handful of fresh)
» 1 scoop (30g) of unflavored plant-based protein powder (or 2 tbsp of oats if you don't have protein)
» 1 small piece of ginger
» 1 tsp cinnamon
» 1/2 tsp maca powder
» 1/2 tsp greens powder
» 1/4 cup of water or plant milk to blend
Topping Suggestions:
» 2 tbsp whole rolled oats
» 1 tbsp chia seeds
» 1 tbsp goji berries
» 1 handful of cashews
01:34 PEANUT CARAMEL SMOOTHIE BOWL
I have a confession. I am utterly and hopelessly obsessed with PB2. That is why I love this peanut (maca) caramel bowl so so much. Also note that you can always replace powdered peanut butter with actual peanut butter, or any other type of nut/seed butter if you are allergic (I assume it would be really delicious with cashew butter, almond butter or tahini 😍)
» 1 apple
» 1 banana
» 1 scoop (30g) of unflavored or vanilla plant-based protein powder (or 2 tbsp of oats)
» 2 tbsp PB2, peanut flour or PBFit (whatever you know it as)
» 1 tbsp maca powder
» 1/4 cup of water for blending
Topping Suggestions:
» 2 tbsp Puffed quinoa
» 1 tbsp goji berries
» 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
» 1 tbsp peanut butter (I used PB2 with a little water, but feel free to use whatever you want)
02:51 PIÑA COLADA SMOOTHIE BOWL
Ever since travelling to Cuba in 2013, I have been in love with the flavor combination of subtle coconut and tangy pineapple found in (virgin) piña coladas, and when I saw this ripe pineapple at the store, the gears were already turning in my head ^.^ Here's how you make it:
» 1/3 ripe pineapple
» 1 apple
» 1 banana
» 1 tbsp shredded coconut or coconut butter
» 1 tsp turmeric for color
» 1/4 cup of coconut milk
Topping Suggestions:
» cubes of pineapple
» 1 tbsp shredded coconut
» 1 tbsp chia seeds
