I'm moving to Minneapolis in March and planned on attending esthetician school. The two that i narrowed it down to was Aveda and MedSpa Institute of America. I'm a hands down type of person and prefer learning that way. I had the rep for Aveda schedule me for a tour but after seeing this video it made me more aware of what to expect. Aveda is a great brand school but I want the smaller classes and the attention to detail in learning so I've decided with the other. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos and thank you for posting this!

I'm interested in esthetician school, I really love the skincare/facial part of it but I'm so bad at makeup. how does makeup matter in the schooling?
Girlll that was me too, I hated doing makeup! We had to have 40 makeup quotas to graduate. The makeup look could be done on a mannequin head or a human!

im planning on going here next year, and the thing i’m scared about is the hours they have :( i was told it was 9 to 7
yeah it’s 10 hour days 😣 which isn’t for everyone but I personally liked only having to go in 3 days a week vs 5 days.
So have you thought about going right back to get your instructors license since that's where the real money is? Are you thinking about taking up other things in the beauty field as well such as electrolysis, manicuring, barbering, or cosmetology to have a backup plan?🥰🤔🐯 Been a licensed manicurist this year would be 31 years I lost my passion for it but I still keep my license and I'm thinking about taking up aesthetics. In my state you only have to go for $400 if you're paying cash. If you're paying by Pell Grant then you have to go for $600 🙆🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤷🏼♀️. I hope that you will do pros and cons on your next video of aesthetics.
it’s not always about that being where “the money is” a new graduate or a newly licensed person shouldn’t be running to get an instructors license.
