We bought a Magnite in 2021, traded it in 4 weeks later. We took a big financial knock. Wind noise is crazy, not stable at high speed, the internal light that’s linked to the doors kept falling off, the carpet was popping out clips, high petrol consumption, not to forget the arm rest made of wood (hard hard). Buy at your own risk.😢😅
When he mentioned that it consume 6L/100km,I knew that this car is thirsty

My parents own one and it’s one of the best cars for the price. The turbo really gives the car power and makes it fun to drive.

I own a Magnite Kuro 1.0t CVT.
Tbh, it’s an amazing car, and on the pearl white, the blacked out grill, badges etc makes it quite a looker. Very comfortable car.
In terms of performance, it’s really nice around town, quite nippy and useful to do a quick overtake.
I’ve owned mine for close to 2 months, already done over 5k mileage, as I travel all over Gauteng and surrounding areas for work purposes and have not experienced a single problem to date.
The CVT, as mentioned by Muzi, is an absolute joy compared to others. I find that it’s better to gradually pick up speed, as opposed to putting your foot flat (unless for a quick overtake, and reduce to normal speed).
My opinion, it’s an amazing car, and if faced with the option of choosing all over again, I’d choose this car again.
Give us an update in a year

I drive Renault Kiger 2022 1lt Turbo. i bought it with 20 000km for 260k financed. It's been 6 months but i haven't had any issues im currently sitting at 30 000km
People say a lot of things about a lot of cars. 5 cars don't make all cars bad. this things happen irrespective of the brand. nissan and renault are quality brands and have been here for a while. Mercedes used renault engines.
@@MKL_D Exactly. What I've learnt about cars is that, there's no such thing as cheap car. Buy what you like, because whether you like it or not, things go wrong and you'll have to cough up money. Period. I will buy a car that I like (and can afford), I don't care what anyone says.

A colleague bought a brand new Magnite at a big dealership BB in l Limpopo. He collected it and showed engine failure after driving. It for less than 24 hours. It then was towed by Nissan South Africa to check it, Then after keeping it for a month they said the engine has a fault. Now that dealership is refusing to assist their customer. The customer has no car but instalments are taking money, Please assist Sambo
Did the dealer provide a detailed diagnosis?
@@MuziSambo They said they will have to replace the engine with a new one. But is it still a brand new car? Is this not a rip off? He told them to give him another brand new car, but they are insisting on giving him the same car with a replacement engine.

We bought ours brand new, CVT...almost 2years now, more dan 20K KM on the clock. Fuel friendly, wireless fone charging and awesome infortainment that supports modern devices n apps and does 160Km with ease with the Sport mode activated. A gud buy for a car under R350K. Bad at 360 degrees turns, brakes squeeks...Nissan said its a problem across all of them. Poor workmans quality on some minor finishes. Overall,we are happy with the purchase.

We've had the car for 2 years now. Its been ok, we have had an issue with window up/down function. Car is just ok for normal people. Feels like the fuek tank is small cos its like the fuel never lasts.

Bought MY CVT ACENTA PLUS in 2021.I bought it because of how it looks outside and automatic transmission. Those were my priorities at the time.The driving at any speed is quite pleasant in my experience but the gear shifting and interior workmanship is terrible. I would say shop around for a better quality car in it's price range.

I drive a non turbo (AMT) Nissan Magnite I love everything about it except the power on the non turbo is terrible, but because I’m a new driver I guess it’s good for now. Have been driving it for 7 months haven’t experienced any issues. If I were to buy it again I would go for the turbo.

I have a colleague who bought a Magnite Kuro in early March and although she has already reached 7000 km, her brakes are already making a noise. My manager bought one two years ago and she’s always replacing the brake pads. I bought the new Clio in shortly after my colleague bought her Magnite and suffice it to say, I am happy with my purchase and I have no regrets. I almost went for the Kiger but after all the stories I heard, I’m glad I did not. I chose the Clio mainly because it was not built in India (no shade) but a Magnite is really for people who are not fussy about cars the way most of us are

Atleast they managed fine tune their CVT wrt fuel consumption and driving capability compared to their competitors. But 10 000km service intervals is crazy. Considering some South africans can run through Two 15 000km service intervals in 1 year

This was originally meant to be a Datsun as it has exact same front of the Go but Nissan scrapped the Datsun brand and plonked a Nissan badge instead..I know a lady who bought the Manual entry level and just traded it on new Vivo..under 18months she had it. It showed rust underneath and noisy rear suspension and gearbox.. Dealer resprayed the rust but that was it.. think they sell on looks mainly and are now used by rental companies .Do homework on any vehicle you want to buy.even new vehicles

I drive the Renault Kiger 1.0 Intens (manual 😂) which I bought in Sept 2021 at around R270K and have had no issues and its sitting at over 40K mileage wise. But you can tell its cheaply built because I was driving the Ford Fiesta before that.

We had a 2013 Qashqai 1.6 which served us well but when things started going wrong I thought I'd need to contact the Make a Wish foundation to fund repairs... and that was being fixed by a mechanic friend.
Hi Muzi, drove the CVT to PLK from Nelspruit fill up and arrived in Seshego with 1/4 empty 😢it chows petrol if you need to overtake takes a bit of time to get power 😢
My lady drives it. Its not fuel efficient but everything else is value for money.
I have one the CVT and hey ! The brake pedals wear out faster than a regular car , but all else is true must say

I stay in Sosha and work in O.R Tambo international airport, moving closer to work is unfortunately not an option - My take home after deductions is 12 to 13k. I roughly have to cover 180km’s per day. What can you recommend for me.. Really need some advice because waking up at 3am and arrive back home around after 7pm is starting to affect my productivity.
