Hi Justin, Could you make a video regarding stress/grades in PT school? I think a lot of students are caught trying to get the best grades but I know grades don’t matter much but matters enough to pass. We shouldn’t stress too much about grades and allow quality time for other activities.
Hey what’s up Minh! That’s an excellent video topic and I’ll put that on the list! Yeah it’s hard to NOT focus on the grade, since that’s all you been conditioned to do you know? Remember as long as you pass the class you’re good! But you also want to study hard because you’re hard studying will impact those patients in the future haha
Hey Justin, I’m three months into PT school. I’d love to hear what things we can do to snag a good job with little to no experience. (Certifications and such)
Goodmorning Justin, Just a few questions to narrow my education in the right path. This is full time school right? If i were to part time school and full time work, would it double to 6 years or depending on the program?
Hello, I know your not a PTA (I have watched your videos that have info about PTAs), but I am in high school and am trying to decide whether to go to PTA program school or do a 6 yr DPT program school (3 undergrad + 3 DPT) could you do a video discussing the actual difference is in what PTA’s and DPTs LEARN in their schooling?
I’m currently finishing my pta (1-3 years) and applying to DPT. They do the same work except DPT has more responsibility and able to diagnose/ exam and evaluate basically… but in the work feild they look much similar
Thanks for the video - I am terrified for PT school and your more friendly approach to explaining it was nice. Have you heard of anyone getting home health clinical rotations?
Don’t be afraid! When and where are you starting? I actually have not heard of this.. it would be super cool to see if anyone had a home health rotation tho
@@drjustinleedpt I received a couple acceptances but I still have an interview at UNLV so I'm not too sure yet. I'm from Hawaii like you so living somewhere else on top of the studying will definitely be a challenge haha
Hey Tristan! I appreciate you being so eager for a coupon code. I unfortunately do not have any coupons for my program. Which program were you looking into?
Hey that is a great question!! It is 100% possible to be full time PT while part time job. I did it, along with several of my classmates. It really is dependent on your personality and if you can handle that. But it it’s for sure possible! A regular schedule is hard to say because it varies every semester. But when thing are a full go, it’s like from 8-5pm
Starting my first day of DPT school tomorrow!
So so so stoked for you!! What program are you attending?
