"People heavy..." I'm feeling that down in my soul!!
I so understand “people heavy” I think most of us “planty people” know exactly what you mean when you say “people heavy”. Thanks for taking us along on such a pretty hike.❤️❤️❤️I live in the U.S. and I too will never get sick of seeing kangaroos in the wild🥰
Thank you:)
Your commentary had me cracking up! 🤣 "If I were a koala, this would be my tree so I'm a bit confused as to why there's no koala there" 💀💀💀
It’s a fair point though right 💁🏻♂️
You look so excited and joyful. It makes the videos so much fun to watch. 👍
Thank you 🥰🥰
Lovely to be with you on your journey into the world of gardening and outdoor plants. Fun to see nature from the other side of the world when I'm living in Sweden. Thanks 🌱🙏🏻💕
Thank you:)
Thanks Jan, that was wonderful ❤️. Had me LOL. 🤣 Your friendly chatty walkabout videos are fantastic for those of us who, for whatever reason, can't do the walking. This is where I live, and I've never been there. I really appreciate you taking us along. 😘
Thank you so much:)
@morespg Also, the dry eyes might be due to Adelaide's dryer air. Certainly affects the plants. 😥
Thank you Jan for another Magical Mystery Tour. For the beauty and diversity of the flora and fauna.
For your laughter, sweat and tears. As well as all the hard work in making this content for your new channel.
Thank you so much :)
Ciao! Love the "new" Jan and all the great content...amazing trip south...the botanical garden was wonderful...this is going to be a good ride for all of us, so keep up the work...we don't care if there are "mistakes" or "flubs"...we are getting to know another side of you and so far, it has been very rewarding...can't wait for the next episode!
Thank you so much :) appreciate it :)
What a wonderful and beautiful location! Thank you for taking us with you! ❤
Thanks for watching :)
Such a beautiful garden! The fern trees and gum trees looked amazing! Love it!
Thanks :)
Love this free flowing stream of consciousness video. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place.
Thank you so much :)
Loved the scenery as you walked the garden. I lol when you gave the multiple names title! Thanks for taking us along Jan!
Thanks :)
Over the hills and through the woods with Jon................loved it ! Will follow you anywhere 🙂
Thank you:)
I love this Jan, you make me giggle 😃. I live in Seattle, Washington, US. In the center of our city, we have Green Lake, and there are upwards of 210 different species of trees. PS im 60 and you motivate me
Thanks so much:)
Beautiful, thank you for taking us along, Jan😊
Thanks for watching :)
My grandchildren will be me with a housefull of cats too 😂
#goals
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing you in your element Jan😻. The foggy beginning was everything! Your adventures in Adelaide hills botanical garden would make a great video game. A maze to traverse, dodging sprinklers, identifying plants and discovering wildlife for points, all before you're blinded by sweaty sunscreen in your eyes😹
You summed that up well haha :D thank you:)
It looked eerie with the mist around the trees, beautiful place🌲 🌳 Cool vlog 😎
Thank you:)
Grandchildren = 7 cats 😂
Loved the botanical garden tour. Tree ferns have mystified me since I was a kid. They're so prehistoric looking and delicate at the same time. I have one now as a house plant and it's circumference has taken up almost the entire spare bedroom. Thankfully the weather has changed for it to go outside.
Best of luck to you in your exploration and experiences moving forward, Jan.
Thanks mate :)
That was very very beautiful! And fun! When you tried to skip water, I felt myself as I was in computer game!)
Thanks :)
Enjoy all your botanical tours, thanks. 😀
Thank you:)
Thanks for taking us on that lovely tour. I really enjoy your style even if it is rough around the edges some times its great for a giggle. I would love to see you tour the daintree rainforest one day. If you're lucky you might even see a tree kangaroo ! I am yet to make my first moss pole so I'm certainly not bored of moss pole content yet 😂🌿❤
Thanks :)
Love seeing you out and about! And it’s great to see this side of your personality. ‘Wanky’ is my new ‘it’ word 😂
Thank you:)
The sprinklers 😂😂
I loved this video! The gardens are beautiful!
Thank you:)
From my experience I believe the reason why the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens closes at 4pm is because it’s South Australia/Adelaide. It gets cold & dark early there
Fair enough!!:)
anybody wanna pay for a flight to Adelaide? seriously, this looks lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us
Thank you!! So beautifuk down in South Australia :)
I really like these ‘going to Australia’ videos. Feels like I’m on a holiday while sitting on the couch. Loving these planty travels 😍 keep them coming!
Thank you:)
Ruuuuuuuuun Jan, ruuuuuuuuuuuuunnnn!!! 🌊🔫 I have that same issue with sunscreen. I use the inside of my shirt to wipe my eyes, and sometimes it even works! 😆
Good tip 🫣🫣😂
Nice location!
💜💜
I reckon you're allergic to your new products 😂 but it was fun dodging all the sprinklers and seeing the water and tree ferns. Well done you 😎
Mmm I actually didn’t use their sunscreen 🫣 so I’d be allergic to my old products hehe :P
Thanks for this. Live in South Australia and have been meaning to visit!
Definitely worth a nice day trip:)
18:20 Gunnera Manicata probably
I also tear up when I see ferns Jan, it's ok
😅😅
That gunnera! I'm jealous. I've tried to grow that plant twice...failed both times. Thanks for taking us a long on your walk.
I really love your authentic appearance!!
Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland ;)
Danke :)
Love this Video 😊
Thanks :)
I always thought from dusk Till dawn ( the Film) means from moring till evening. But then recognize it is a Film with vampires. So the other way around makes more sense 😂
It is confusing!! 😅😅
It's always a great night when I get a notification that there is a new SPG video up😊
Thank you:)
What a nice tour and I can totally relate to the healing lonelyness after busy days with lots of socializing. I wonder, if you get the same rest while you are filming, vs being completely on your own, without thinking about equipment and talking.
And I feel the sunscreen issue 😂 the minute I start sweating it gets in my eyes... 😭 and I already buy the expensive shit for the face. Beauty influencers have it on all year round, but I couldnt be bothered.
Spring is hitting Germany, so I have to wear it, otherwise I will go full on lobster mode 🦞
Mmm probably without equipement would be more ‘tranquil’ BUT talkkng to the camera out loud helps be verbalise my thoughts … it’s like a therapy session 😅😅
Please, please, please tell me what time you arrived at the gardens. I’m taking my grandkids next week and I really want them to “Run the Gauntlet “, sprinkler style running 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks again Jan for a wonderful video ❤️
I arrived around 9ish if ai remember correctly :) thanks :)
Your content is always so well presented, you do it so well. Thank you for brightening up my day with your videos 🥰
When you sweat that sunscreen starts to drip, and it will go into your eyes
Nice video
Thanks:)
Thank you for sharing this was SOOO amazing 😻🌿😻✌🏼
Thank you:)
A very nice tour Jan ,you captured the ladscape nicely and made it fun aswell ,koalas next time👌
👋
💚🌵🌿🍀💚
Thank you:)
Great that you had time to visit the botanical garden. I guess I will have to go to a zoo to see koala's ( we just got 3 in the Netherlands), to bad you didn't see them. I love tree ferns, seen them in large gardens in the UK and Ireland
i love foggy mornings in the mountains!! so dreamy & plants love that!
6:40 great pose XD
I beg they keep the water sprinklers on to get your run/exercise XD
hahaha TRUE! when filming on your own, time to set the camera at the right angle, pretend casually walk pass/away from camera then run back to check+ get back the camera - FUN!
It would be great to met some experts or locals, walk with me in the bush/gardens, so I can learn tons of new things.
Ferns are my absolute favourite when I go bushwalking :)
Thanks :)
Your jogging routine paid off here 😂
The workers probably need to go home before it gets dark.
Makes sense to close it before it gets dark... but 3 hours before it gets dark ?!
I thought you were heading towards winter? 30 degrees, ridiculous 😆 Plenty of pretty plant, I saw 2 I have (Echinacea & Hedychium Densiflorum 'Assam Orange')
This year we have had an extended summer in Adelaide. I don’t remember any other year that is way this warm even in autumn.
@@pudik2008Ah that's why :)
This was also filmed beginning of March 🫣🫣 it would have cooled down by now :)
I'm shocked... someone from Germany, not pre-planning 😅
The 12 years in Australia definitely had an impact :P
@@morespg 🤣😂
Could be you were suffering from an allergy to something growing locally. May need to pack antihistamines for your next trip 😊
I think it was sun & wind tbh!!! Oh well :)
