Jan, you are a VIP to us.😊
Hehe thank you:)
So good seeing you living your best life, Jan!🦘
Thank you Erica :)
The fact that you apologize to the wildlife might your most adorable quality.
I’m still watching this, I’m at around 32 minutes in and I’m loving it ❤❤.
Hope you had a great time Jan!!
Thank you so much :)
That was interesting, informative, entertaining and just gives us all a little peek into what makes you tick Jan , loved it . Please make more like this 👏👏👏
Thank you :)
I was concerned for your health for a minute but glad to see that you’ve succeeded in your quest to appreciate nature and also not die. You’re rad, as always. Sensational 😉
Hehe thank you so much:)
This was such a a great video, Jan! I'm glad you decided to make this channel. Your vlog style videos are so fun to watch. The kangaroos were delightful, and I can't wait for you to find us some koalas soon 🤞
Thank you so much:)!
Oh, Jan. The moon can have effects on humans, too. It's true. 😂 koala yippie 🎉🎉 I am happy you got to see a bit of the hills area🎉
What you say about native wildlife....I feel the same way about Florida US. Seeing Dolphins and Manatee in the water is such an amazing experience that Floridians just dismiss as no big deal.
Loved seeing this part of Australia!! So different and beautiful.
Thank you:)!
I lived in Australia for 10 years during my childhood. I am now back in the US but I love love, love kangaroos, and Australia for that matter.!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Never get sick of seeing them :)
@@morespg ❤️❤️
Great to get more recognition from companies, it's lovely to see you grow and thrive along your plants😄 This year I've been redesigning my garden, also taking into account the view I get from inside my living room and trying to make a transition from inside to outside with plant placement 🙂 It's made all the difference, in a way I've unknowingly been thinking from a biodynamic perspective.. Making sure there is a healthy mix of plant species in my garden, with plenty of food for insects and birds year round. The design is mainly tropical, but there are usually plenty of native plants that can seamlessly tie into that theme no matter where you live. Also, in fall I started mulching the soil with wood chips and leaves to improve soil quality
Thank you:) suppose we all do some aspects of biodynamic growing here & there so it’s nice to out a word to it :)
Great video! Always fun to see different parts of Australia and a wonderful farm. And the kangaroos and koalas!!!❤ 🦘🦥
Thanks :)
Brad needs a cat tree by the big space next to the tv! He is such a sweety.....loving the vlog so far! Thank you and happy for you....I knew this would be your full time job! I can't wait to see all the goodness that continues in your life and in the future!
He has no interest in cat related anything :D he considers himself human :D had a cat tree that he ignored for 2 years so got rid of it :P
And thank you:)
Oh my gosh, I am loving your content and wish to go there now. Imagine to see all the beauty and walk the trail enjoying nature while exercising. Beautiful, waiting for me.
Thank you so much :)
Great video, thank you Jan, for this cool Trip!! Großartig!!!! Greetings from Germany ( Pfalz ) !!!!
Danke :)
Wow Jan, a pretty incredible place 👍 Thank you bringing us a long 😀🇨🇦
Thanks for watching :)
I'm so glad you got to see the native wildlife. It's very exciting. You're absolutely correct though, we become too accustomed to what we grow up around, that we don't even realize it's there at all.
The gardens were beautiful! Elderberry grows wild everywhere here, so I'm like..meh, although, I'm very aware of its benefits. But all the lavender, echinacea and iris we have in our yard. We could do so much more than just have pretty flowerbeds.
Thank you so much :)
You are so funny! That was fun. I really enjoyed it (kept rewinding). Remembered when you were getting ready to go on your trip to Germany - how you labelled the plants for watering. More of this type of vlog please. 💜❤
Thank you:)
Wonderful!!!
This content is INSANE! Thank you for bringing us along. ❤
Thank you so much :)
I hope we see more. How awesome. Tfs
Thanks :) there will be more :)
❤❤❤
So cool, Jan. Can’t wait for part 2 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you:)
How exciting! I use Jurlique products, love them. Next time you are in Adelaide and have a min we could meet up for coffee! Did you notice how dry and hot our climate is! I’m so happy for you on your new journey! 💚💚💚🌱🌿🌿 Natalie
Thank you :) I sure hope to be back again :)
I’m so happy for you Jan! Hopefully, you’ll get more exposure & regular gigs like that. Looking fwd to day 2
Thank you:)
This video was so informative and
Interesting. Your personality is really coming through in the More SPG vlogs. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you :)
I’m also an Australian born woman that still gets excited when I spot a kangaroo ❤😊.
I even used to look after swamp wallabies years ago at a place I volunteered at in Bargo NSW.
That’s so good to hear :)
You know what? I'm glad you didn't get the koala on camera because that special moment was for you. I love them! I would've been happy to watch the Brad cam while you're away. lol ❤ everything looked beautiful. Can't wait to pop over from NZ again.
Thank you :) would love to come to NZ again!! The nature is second to none !!
I'm happy for you living your life ❤️ when if not now? ☺️ Thank you for showing us more Australia, it's fun to be here with you 🙂
Thank you:)
Welcome to my neck of the woods 😁 I moved here from UK 15 years ago and seeing wild kangaroos everywhere here in SA still makes me excited 🥰 Mount Lofty is beautiful this time of year, I’m glad you got to see it 😁 oh, and you’ll be glad you headed home on Thursday (today) it’s been grey and freezing all day 😩 I can’t wait to see the rest of your SA adventures 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you :) the trip was at the beginning of March actually :) These videos take a long time to produce :P
❤️❤️ very cool! I have a micellar water with Holy Basil and it’s one of my favorites to use! This is very intriguing to see all this from a different perspective!
I think I would be over the moon to see kangaroos in the wild too!
Thank you:)
Jan this video is so good! Congrats on your first big travel vlog!
Thank you:)
Amazing filming as always Jan! 💪🏽 keep it up!
Thanks :)
❤❤❤❤❤
😊😊
Such a cool way to farm and a great video Jan :)
Thank you:)
thanks that was very interesting and entertaining. Glad you find kangaroos wonderful. As a fellow migrant I do too. I might buy some Jurlique now so you have done your job!
Hehe :) thank you!:)
🐨 ❤
Awesome video, hope to see much more :)
More to come :) thank you!
What a fantastic opportunity for you, surely the first of many. My neighbour is from Adelaide and to him kangaroos are like rabbits. They are so common 😂 Loving this new channel!
Thank you so much :) hopefully more to come :)
Welcome to Adelaide ❤
Thank you:)
I love Adelaide
Unfortunately I didn't have time to go to Adelaide itself , but the hills were amazing :)
Love it❤
Thank you:)
love this!!
Thank you:)
Loved everything 🥰🥰
Thanks Fay :)) 😘
welcome to the best state in Australia!
MM let's not start that debate :D
Beautiful content, you are such a genuine person❤️
Thank you so much:)
More-gorgeous view- goodnight.
The first of many trips like this 👌
All enjoyed it !
💚🍀🌵🌿💚
I hope so :) thank you!
Dude. We’re totally friends now 😂 I’ve been following you for a while and am only beginning to appreciate your full personality. Please, keep doing what you’re doing! 40 y/o cis, bi female dullard- withering away in southern AZ, yearning for your climate. I have one moss pole atm, right by a humidifier and kinda killing it IMO lol. Thanks to your moss pole genius. Philodendron sp fuzzy petiole. Humble but sexy.
Thank you:)
That was fun - time just flew by! Can't wait for part 2! Traveling during the off season is the best! 😻
Thank you:)
Right off, I forget to check the bottom of my moss poles, great reminder thanks Jan, I have only checked the top, no matter how far the plant climbed up, if the top is dry I water, I could be causing root rot! Appreciate you!! ❤❤
I’m an intro-extrovert too, I get anxious about doing something, but when I get there I usually have a blast.
Random note: I used to sit closer to my steering wheel a bit like Anna, then I got into a head on collision, now I sit back as far as I can while reaching the pedals, both knee caps were smashed hitting the underside of the dash cause I was driving sitting too close. Never again.
I wonder if the kangaroos eat any of their crops? I don’t know enough about them
Oh no!! Sorry to hear about the knees!! Yes tje kangaroos are a pain for farmers 🫣🫣🤭🤭but i love them heeh
Wow, what a beautiful farm🤩 I love lavender and roses 🌹
It really was !! So sad you can't smell through YT !
That's very interesting what you were saying about the connection to the plants. This is the reason I always buy smaller versions of plants/seedlings. I want to grow them and get to know what they like and dislike and they can acclimate to me and the environment as well.
Every larger plant that I've purchased is not doing well and I have to scramble and figure it out before it dies. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
The kangaroos there are like the deer here in the US. 😂😂😂 They're always on the side of the road.
Yes !! Same here, you can't short-cut building that connection :) thank you!!
Lovely video! I especially appreciate you including a map, thank you! I’ve never heard of an area having half an hour time difference, very strange.
Thank you:)
I've always wanted to go to the Jurlique farm. Thanks for the tour 🌻
There’ll be another tour on my main channel on the weekend :) thank you!
@@morespg and I'll be watching 🍂
lol, I live in Victoria on a farm right near the SA border....it's actually great because whenever I pop over to Mt Gambier on the other side of the border I gain half an hour! AS a single mum along on a farm with 3 kids, any gain of tiem is great 🤣🤣 Bloody confusing till you get used to it though. I have koalas living around my house :)
Haha but so confusing !!!
In May 1899, in a break with the common international practice of setting one-hour intervals between adjacent time zones, South Australia advanced Central Standard Time by thirty minutes after lobbying by businesses who wanted to be closer to Melbourne time and cricketers and footballers who wanted more daylight to practice in the evenings.[3] It also meant that South Australia became one of only a few places in the world which uses a time-zone meridian located outside of its geographical boundaries. Attempts to undo this change in 1986 and 1994 failed.
Good to know !!!
Happy for you that you made it through the woods.
Me too!! :D
if things are free never feel ashamed to maximise that experience... you worked your ass off for it...
Thank you:)
Never ever leave the house without this mental check list, "testicle's, spectacles, wallet and watch " i live in Seattle Washington US, i had tp go outside with my broom and brake up the fight between my resident raccoons
Oh well I never wear a watch :) but maybe we can replace that with 'phone' :D
Have you ever considered drip feeders?????
Bunnings have 2 for $3 and I alm trialling them at present .. game changer!! You should give them a go...
Also, watched this the whole way through... fantastic content .. listening to you talk about not putting terminology to how you grow and connect with you plants and them saying its biodiversity.. for me I have always called it companion planting.. sacrifical plants among my aroids for pests or plants that encourage better growth, humidity etc... keep up the great work look forward to the next one
Thank you :) what do you mean by drip feeders ?:)
If you're gonna want to travel, why not put together an automatic watering system that you can put on a timer 😮 for when your traveling>>> what do you think about that idea and how about thinking about inside watering filtration systems too and talking about : the cost, how to set it up and whether or not it's a worthwhile thing to invest into do you know about indoor safe watering without creating mold problems
..as Im older, I'd like to know about those kinds of investments and their value over time...for me its getting harder and harder to keep up with watering my indoor plants due to mobility issues as Im aging...So this topic is very important to many including hydroponics.
I like the idea of it but ultimately nothing I would ever implement in my own plant journey. I understand your reasons for it but I personally like the hands on care approach, that's my 'off time' where I can switch off and not look at screens, so automating that would take away my hobby! I also think that's very unrealistic with the amount of plants I have in every room of the house ... there'd just me irrigation hoses left right & centre turning my house into a commercial greenhouse ... not the aestehtic I'm after so this is most likely nothing I'll ever look into, sorry :)
How much nutrient do you add to your bottles? It’s really dark. Mine is just barely a little yellow. Maybe im not using enough foliage focus 🤷♀️
It's dark because I also ad 1ml of Rootzone :) i use both as per recommendation on the bottle:)
@@morespg Thanks for that! I ordered the foliage focus from amazon, but they don’t have the root zone yet. Fingers crossed, it’ll be available soon 🤞🏼 Im not paying for shipping from Australia 😬
omfg the bag is so cute. does any one have any idea where's that from or a link to it may be?
My mum sent it to me from Germany, ghe brand is called Dakine
🦘🦘🦘
All i can think when i see kangaroos in the wild now is those super buff ones that try and fight dumbass men and drown dogs!
Be safe, Jan! 😜
Haha well there’s lots of different ones :) thanks :)
The amount of road kill is what gets to me.
Yeah it’s crazy!! Same here in NSW :/ so many !
Homeopathy! Yes!
