I wasn't even a year old when Patsy Cline died. But thanks to my parents I grew up hearing her albums. For me, she is one of greatest singers from any genre of music to ever grace us.

As a young child, I listened to this and other oldies as my mother loved them. As I grew up I realised that regardless of the song, if the singer has heart and soul, the song is magic. Thank you for letting me reminisce. RIP Carol ⚘

Patsy Cline lived the lyrics she sings in this song. Even with all the pain she must have known she was kind and generous to all who knew her. Loretta Lynn, Barbra Mandrel, Dottie West, and Brenda Lee all cite Cline as a friend and mentor in a business not known for either. Patsy was the first female inductee into the Country Music hall of fame and has influenced pop music for the 58 years since her death. She died in a plane crash about 2 years after the performance in this video. RIP Ms. Cline.... You were there first.

Another great reaction video. I didn't read all the comments so forgive me if someone has already suggested that you watch the film "Coal Miner's Daughter" about the life of legendary singer Loretta Lynn. Loretta Lynn was a great friend of Patsy Cline's and the story of their lives is amazing. Sissy Spacek, the actress who portrayed Loretta Lynn, won a well-deserved Oscar for her role.

Since you've moved into country music, why not try the "First Lady of Country Music", Tammy Wynette?
This beautiful woman that by the age of 20 already had given birth to 2 daughters, and left her husband while pregnant with the third - forced to make extra money, she started singing...
Despite a life in constant pain, and more then 30 operations - of which several were crucial, she reached the top - and stayed there.
Her most famous song - of oh so many reasons, are "Stand by your man"
(cause after all, he's just a man... ;)
