Please invite Danielle to next season of Puppet History. It combines her two specialities: theater and history. Even if she already knows the story, I think she'll still have a blast. I imagine the best part of a teacher's day is when you ask your students to do a presentation and one kid just goes off and does the absolute most. There's puppets, pop quizzes, and killer, Grammy-worthy, original songs! How many students do that? She would love it.

I know! I didn’t like how mean everyone was to Shane this ep lmao. Like I know it’s been a running joke these past few eps to pick on him but this particular episode felt like a little too much. There was too much of like a passive aggressive/mean energy in this one it made me sad and uncomfy lmao.

Two audibles called, a knowledgeable and relatable expert, the most polite and friendly chef's kisses granted, only one mute-this episode's a regular holiday miracle itself.
Great finale and an amazing season overall. Can't wait for season 3, the one where Ryan goes completely off the fuckin' rails trying to ruffle the feathers of the (self-proclaimed) People's Lister.

My condolences to all the young people in Itaewon, South Korea who passed away this Halloween. It's usually a fun holiday, but ended so tragically, and most likely will continue to be a painful day for many.

For all the basic reasons listed during the episode, except that the childhood magic of Christmas still sustains my adult self and while Hanukkah isn't a High Holiday, it's special in my interfaith family for bringing a bit of spirituality back to the commercial gamut of the season. I love seeing everybody's face lit with curiosity during unwrapping their gifts and the reaction to the neat thing someone put their thought and effort to. Lighting the candles at home with my son with a quiet little prayer of thanks and love is a sweet and humble moment of shared introspection.
Danielle was amazing on this, would definitely love to see her back!
I remember watching her on the PBS RUclips channel discussing Black history stuff! I was so sad when she left, but now I see that she’s gone on to bigger & greater things! #ProudToSeeIt
I would love to see you guys do Disney shows with a Disney actor/actress! I know it becomes a hot topic with my friends haha

5. Rosh HaShanah- We renew our relationship with G-d & crown Him as King, great chazzanus (cantilation), and my family always makes a roast- there's so much good food ❤
4. Sukkos- putting up the sukkah, decorating it, eating outdoors in a cozy place with family, bringing out food via the pulley system, sleeping in the sukkah once per year :D
3. Chanukah- spirituality, candles, dreidels and donuts- what else could you want?
2. Pesach- The day when we celebrate our freedom via 2 whole nights of Torah, family, stories, and good food (Also 4 cups of wine ;)
1. Purim- The day when the guy who tried to kill my people got hung and we exchange food baskets in costume (like Halloween but with culture and no strangers)
(Most Jewish holidays: "They tried to kill us, we survived, let's eat"- and we take the eating part very seriously)
"I get scared in a corn maze. Will I ever get out of here‽" 🤣 Love this guest, I hope you have her back!!
A minute in and Danielle is already my favorite expert they've ever had on the show 😊😊😊
Here's my top 5 (with my limited knowledge of holidays)
1: Halloween because it kicks ass and I love spooky shit and mischeif
2: Lupercalia/Valentine's Day because even though I've almost always been single during this holiday, I have a lot of happy memories on this day. Plus since I've hit my teens, I've really enjoyed dressing up and vibing with my friends. (Plus at my school we have a fundraiser that sells carnations for Valentine's Day, and those are my fav flower so it just makes me rlly happy being able to buy/give/receive them)
3: Christmas because I love how every town just decides to line their streets with decorations, and there's like this warm happy feeling in the air even though it's (hopefully) cold and snowy outside at the time.
4: My birthday because y'know, obviously lol
5: 4th of July because of all the delicious grilled food, warm summer vibes, hanging out with friends, going swimming and spending the whole day outside, and all of the excitement and good smells in the air. (I don't celebrate it to celebrate America either lol)

The past year's family get together holidays I have to say I was into and made me like holidays I usually don't generally look forward to. I love my family but I loved doing Christmas via zoom. Not leaving my house but still "hanging" with my family, LOVE IT.
God I LOVE hearing about how people celebrate holidays. Not like the society wide traditions that would be in the textbook definition.
But the personal, family idiosyncrasies that make a random day of the year special to each of us.. that’s my SHIT!

@@calci2679 I’m sure! And with the ghost thing that always had a very fun/lighthearted energy that was amusing. This teasing just felt slightly hostile to me personally! But I definitely could be wrong and I’m sure they’re fine!!
Honestly tho, lmao. Kinda felt uncomfortable to watch. I hope they're okay. I even noticed this during the past episodes of Top 5 Beat Down and I just feel bad for Shane hoho. They're jokes/remarks toward each other from Unsolved seemed kinda light?? compared to recent episodes like this one

As a Brit, boxing day for me means pretzels and the whole of my street having boardgames/drinks at my neighbours place (specifically). There's always way too many people and it's always very stressful but as someone who isn't close with their family, it's brilliant just after Christmas

@@rachelgonzalez8051 lol as a fellow American, I'm no authority here but I watch plenty of UK programs and have often heard them referred to as "bank holidays." Not sure if there's a shortened, colloquial alternative tho.

Where I live and work, already put out some Halloween goods, last week. ALL sold within three days. Dudes and Miss Professor Dudette! This place is Halloween CRAZY 😳 ! It was the last week of FEBruARy. People here leave Halloween decorations in their yards until forced to change them out for Christmas in December, because it would just look weird. Not even kidding. Guess where I live? ILLINOIS, baby. We are the coolest. Love all your shows and thank you for finding all the most awesome/interesting guests!
