He is the strong, skilled and intelligent midfield that we need to link defensive to offensive.
A lot of fans written him off before the season and wanted him to be sold off. If his goals and goals assist increases then he will be one of the best midfielders.

@SonnyTalksSpurs I think so but he will need rest in mid week.
Also The way he talks and presents himself in the media. I can see a future captain after Sonny. Your thoughts?

Last year there were so many games where he simultaneously looked the best player on the pitch and like the position he was playing was an awful fit. So relieved to see him thriving. He’s got so many elite qualities at such a young age, and with players like him about the club the future is bright.

Dekki has his mind set on becoming one of the best, and i think that his greatest strength, his mindset set, and determination also his training capacity will alow him to be even better. Just hope he can stay away from injuries!

What makes Kulu so dangerous in the middle, he is unpredictable for the opposition to read his play. I do see him as a chief cornerstone of the Team to link up play, especially going forward. He doesn't have restrictions and can use his creativity alot more, including his strength. Will be interesting to see how Madders will be used as we go further into the season.

Great vid Sonny. Kulu's physical presence and technical ability more than compensate for his perceived lack of pace (he's not slow). I'd just like him to see him work more on his right foot in training. If he does that, he really WILL be unstoppable. Future captain in my opinion.

Call him Deki, that’s his preferred as Kulu sounds too close to a not good word in Italian I believe. I can’t remember what the word is but it’s not a directly offensive word just not one that he wants his name to sound like.
He’s been excellent this season and has really thrived since being moved into the middle of the pitch. I’ve consistently supported him and to me I can’t believe how much he does for us. He is strong, clever with the ball, runs for days. He will only get better and better I believe as he continues to grow in the new role

@@SonnyTalksSpurs yes. I think he will with experience. He’s still young and he himself says that he can improve. I think he will be outstanding second half of the season and we will be up to top 3 in the league. Might sound a crazy shout now but I really have optimism for what is happening right now. I think we will destroy lower level teams and can compete with the better teams but in those matches our team needs to perhaps make more use of Sarr over Maddison to help give us more strength in the centre.

more a sentimental post but i've been watching football as a neutral for a couple of seasons but realised tottenham was my team the same game dejan made his debut. he's really special to me and i felt his highs (now!) and lows have mirrored my own life greatly. to think he was perhaps the most questionable player in terms of being able to fit in ange's system early on (besides the players that were sold anyway), to right now basically facilitating our play is such a lovely thing to witness. i've always loved how much of a hard worker he is, and it's clear how hard he tries to improve all facets of his game.

The way Kulusevski played in pre-season (5-1 win over Hearts and the 2-0 over QPR) showed he was born to play that corner of the box!! Perfect for overcoming the defensive low-block which stymied us last season - the forwards were having a tough time!

Spot on Sonny, couldn't agree more with your assessment, that of several of the snippets your featured and your previous commentors, with Deki playing in this more central role it accentuates his unpredictability. On the right wing we all knew, as did the opposition defenders, that he was going to cut in on his left to shoot, cross or pass. Whereas playing central he can hold it up, go left/right, drag back, pass, shoot or anything he wants. Playing centrally has always been his preference, he told Ali gold this 18 months ago, and he is now showing us why. Great work Sonny, COYS!

I'm not sure this can be viewed as a masterstroke by Ange. He was forced to play Kulu in midfield because of injuries last season and he always looked pretty good. Plus Kulu protested himself that this was his original and best position. So it just Ange bowing to logic.

Hi Sonny. I do believe stats work for transfers and team structure. For me however , I dont over think stats. I prefer to watch a great game of football and he gives me that almost every game. HIs pace is irrelevant his ability to stay on the ball and other players bounce off him is fantastic to watch. Have a great day Sonny.

Ben bowman is perpetually optimistic and people like him hold the club back. They are happy with any signing levy makes and they think every player we sign will become good and levy sees that and continues to buy mediocre players. Im honestly suprised he doesn't get punched in the face the moment after he settles into his seat at the stadium.

@@SonnyTalksSpursWhats not nice is figuring out that if you always put out positive content you will make more money. It's not nice to always be blindy optimistic just to line your pockets and gain sponsers. If hes so intelligent and correct why doesn't he go on tottenham away and debate anyone (thats rhetorical because I already know the answer to that). It's also not nice that after a loss where youve been super optimistic all week to post a picture of your buttered crumpets because you can't say anything about the game without looking stupid. The only people who like him are the fake tottenham fans who want a good afternoon out and nothing more than that.
