He’s been phenomenal this season, switched to that 8/10 role. He’s a monster of a player. Love your knowledge & analysis. I said it a few weeks ago, we’re playing better & giving more complete performances this season than we were when we were top of the league last season. And I think you’re right about Ten Haag too. Ty Alice!!! For months as a Tottenham fan, I am disgusted by the very foundation of the football club at the very beginning, the fanbase. Seriously, one to two losses and yall already moaning and crying for yet another manager to walk out the doors, Conte-styled ??? Ange is the guy with a clear cut vision of the style of football and he’s our guy to knock senses into the players when they get “too comfortable” and lazy out on a game or a lead. You can see the difference in Conte’s press 3 - 3 against Southampton versus Ange in that 3 - 2 loss against Brighton. One man dumps the entire cess pile on the club, the players and leaves whilst the other, takes responsibility for his actions, gave the players the knock they needed and moved on. He’s the man and I’m Ange In just as you are Ten Hag In. Congrats on the 2 - 1 against Brentford btw.

he's alright. he's way too slow to be a consistent threat in the prem. has a great left foot but doesnt have a right foot. like a more effective and cheap antony. so in that sense good business. but nah, he's not 'devastating'. if he was, juve would have kept him and altered their system.
the fact that he has to play as a 10 says enough. it's because he's useless on the wing, he ALWAYS cuts inside and ends up central anyway. all ange did was recognize this and put him in the middle, which is the ONLY area of the pitch he wants to go.

@@justahyundai the fact that he's been put back in the position that fits him best is evidence he's not a good player when he's clearly been the best player in the league so far in that position? You have very strange reasoning

great analysis, I think you hit the nail on the head --- however Maddison might be a super-sub and Kulusevki might be the king in that role with 2 FAST DM's behind him that will stabilize the defence.

I watch every spurs and united game, I’m a united supporter but love watching spurs and have followed Ange for years. Spurs have been the best team in the pl imo beside Liverpool. Arsenal and city have been stealing points where as spurs have lost some

The big difference is the over-all strength in the playing squad from the one at this time last season, to the one Ange has now. Ange's rebuilding will continue, and i can only see our squad getting better and stronger as it does. Ange In COYS!!

Hey 👋 Alice , hope you’re well I think Man U won so enjoy that!
Great performance by the lads today. Apart from rusty start which isn’t surprising as they haven’t trained much together recently.
I think that Deki being so good again overshadowed what was. Brilliant 🤩 match by Biss! Check his stats he totally dominated. He’s my MOTM. ✌️

Our head of academy Simon Davies was part of class of 92 and talks about how similar ange is to fergie and we now have a school at academy so can get the best of the young talent and we’re seeing that with our prem 2 tirle win last year and we’re now buying well and for the future - ange isn’t building a team for the bow like Jose and conte wanted he’s buying for both the now and a future manager with the crop of under 20s we have

as a Spurs fan, i have to say... top 4 is great but the only reason you want top 4 is for the Champions League... and we are not there yet, we'd go out early and that not helping us. I'd rather us push and finish 5th/6th. get another Euro campaign with this squad under our belt. i know that sounds rough, but honestly it's practical.
i was at the game today, you could feel the passion from the fans so everyone is there behind the team... but we need to be realistic too. keep building, focus on the current euro campaign we have atm, and back the team.... also Ange, back him!

Son doesn’t need medicine play with him why because Madison like to have the ball all the time and that’s why Son cannot control all the players. Also Madison cannot play defense that’s why we lost on the fullback on the left side most the time the score on the side Because Madison doesn’t run back on the side that’s why we lost most close game. That’s why he should be play maybe half the rest less body work on midfield for Son and and we may have more opportunity School and confident in midfield because Madison cannot play midfield he doesn’t have strong enough. I don’t have physical enough. He doesn’t have any energy left. If you keep going back-and-forth that is the truth. Look at all the game we lost because on left-hand side Where the man cannot go back-and-forth and my right or wrong today the coach realize we need consistent in midfield solid defense.

What's interesting about Tottenham this season vs last is that actually, despite being notionally 7pts worse off and 6 places worse off, if you compute 'performance vs analagous matches from last season' you get Spurs being 3pts ahead of last season. Also, you could argue that Spurs rode their luck in the first 8 games of last season a bit, whereas this season, it's been the other way around - points dropped where draws and wins could not have been called unfair (I'd say a fair points total for Spurs after 8 games would have been 18pts (win vs Leicester, draw vs Newcastle, draw vs Arsenal, draw vs Brighton)).
Yesterday was a good, solid performance with a good result. It wasn't perfect by any means, but you need games like yesterday in a successful season. There are games you play badly and win, games you play OK and win easily and games you put in a top quality performance to beat allcomers (the score depends on how good the opposition are, obviously). Yesterday fitted into the second category, although the finishing was pretty clinical when you see that Tottenham's xG was 1.4 yet the score was 4-1!
