its not easy, i went to a point where i was sniffing the fuck out of a chocolate bar but i just couldn't eat because i felt like i would have been wasting all the time i've been training to get ripped for. after that though, its like all junk food, from fried foods to candies became invisible to me, its magical, thinking about eating junk food now is almost revolting

    • @paulinacolada8581

Absolutely. Changing your perception can make all the difference. I used this method to stop smoking and beat other addiction problems. Making a conscious effort to make healthier choices has repaired my relationship with food. I used to think nothing of eating 'family sized' bags of crisps and bars of chocolate by myself, every night. By changing the way I see these products and truly acknowledging the negative effects they have on my physical and mental health means I now have no problem avoiding them. I feel no loss.

The sugar thing is certainly true.
Start of July this year i was at 260. I cut out ALL added sugar, pop, started eating a lot of grilled/chicken cooked in just a little oil and light dinners. Started forcing myself to go for walks, 10 m at first, building up to 45-60 minutes, started doing some light exercising that I'm now expanding on.
Yesterday I weighed in at 205.8 lbs. Lowest I've been in 3 years. Need to keep it off and start incorporating strength training but I look and feel better than I have in years.

UMMM? cutting out ALL added sugar is not healthy for long term. If you want a healthy lifestyle have a balanced amount of everything. I love that your exercising but please balance everything out. Cutting all "bad sugars" aren't going long-term. and remember if your in a calorie deficit don't cut down your calories a lot start from maybe a 100 calories or even 50.

But I hit the gym 3 days on 1 or 2 days off
Cardio is key.. I started walking a few miles ea morning.. ear buds good music on YT and walk.. it really helped with energy arthritis etc
I cut back walking after a few mos and joined the gym.. 2 body part and cardio.. I'd do the treadmill walk then do inclines altering speed and incline levels
I'd switch it up to aerobic or bicycling classes
    I dropped 32lbs in 16wks
