Do you know the airplane etiquette you should follow to never get yourself kicked off a plane? If you’re not respectful enough, you might just end up on a passenger shaming website! From getting too drunk, playing loud music, being rude to the cabin crew, picking a fight, ignoring the safety rules and more, these are 10 things you should never do an airplane.
Many people tend to have a glass or two to calm down their nerves when flying. But do you know your drinking limit? Before you decide to drink, make sure your body can handle the turbulences!
We all play music for entertainment, especially during airplane flights. But sometimes, playing loud music can cause major disturbances to the people around you. And not to mention it can completely ruin your hearing!
You can easily get yourself in trouble on a flight by picking a fight or being rude to cabin crew. Don’t forget that you’re in a small space with often more than 100 people. Be respectful to everyone, including flight attendants.
And last but not least, you should never ignore airplane safety rules. Do you know what to do when you hear “brace, brace”? Or what you’re supposed to do if you sit in the exit row? Pay close attention to the rules to make sure your flight is as safe as possible.

I haven't flown on an airplane in 3-4 years, but I have a friend who used to be a pilot, she flew a jet that had big important people on it, when she got on the plane, one of the paasengers yelled out "Get me a drink" to her, she calmly explained to him the she was not the flight attendant, shes the pilot, then he got off the plane because he believed women can't fly planes, incredibly sexist

I am a good human, and I do recline my seat because - well, duh - that's what they're MADE to do. Doesn't mean you go flying back while someone is eating, but when it's nighty-night time, you better believe I'm gonna recline my seat, so you might want to make sure you don't sit behind me if that's gonna be a problem for you!

Don't recline your seat? That shit is just plane (hehe) stupid. The seats barely move back anyway! If anyone is being rude it's the airline who keeps putting the seats so close together you start thinking its rude to not want to sit completely straight for hours at a time....

I still do remember a seriously funny incident that occured with me when i was 2 years old. I was crying like hell and my parents weren't able to control me so the air hostress took my responsibility. When she realised that i was too stubborn so she took me to one of the co pilots when the plane landed for its first stop then the co pilot finally was able to make me go to sleep. Each and every person on that flight knew me then and thereafter 😎
I'm sorry but they shouldn't have reclining seats if you're not allowed to use them. The seats should be far enough apart that it's not an issue.

see with this this is a prob because if theres more leg room thay wont be able to fit as many seats in and that means less money for the airline
I think they are supposed to have reclining seats for medical reasons, like if someone is having medical issues. Also, if the plane crashes, they can move the seats to avoid getting trapped. But yes, it doesn't make sense to advertise them from a marketing standpoint if you can't use them.

Once I went on a airplane, I went alone to Korea to get merchandise there and bring it back to Korea, I saw a kid creeping on me and he wasn't korean. I was on Air Korea and I wanted to go to Canada. The kid saw me having a chocolate and he took it away. I reported a flight attendant what he did and the flight attendant took my chocolate away from the boy and told his mother, "If your child messes with her again, Air Korea will kick you out." The child got scared and went back in his seat, he never messed with me again. The boy was 4, he was very annoying though, but the worst part is that he made me crazy on the flight for 2 hours.

It means don't cough into your uncovered hand.
You don't get the feeling that you are ill after you have been on a flight because you touched then window, you get the feeling that you are ill because of the change in pressure, and the fact that the air in the plane is also very dry. If you did get ill from touching the window, it would be like getting ill because you touch the tap after you washed your hands.

I'd say, a rule more important than some of these;
Don't hog a window seat if you're just gonna close the blinds and sleep through the entire flight and not once look out the window or be interested in what's outside..:/
But overall, when you fly, try having patience and kindness, cause we're all a little uncomfortable, tired and stressed, so don't think you're a special case and just let the person in front of you lower their seat for example.

Filip Karwowski omg yes. My first flight I flew alone to Puerto Rico and the person who had the window seat shut the blinds the minute we were seated. I paid $17 bucks more for a window seat the next time. Lol like way to ruin an awesome moment in my life. Lol

It's definitely worth being trapped with two people to squeeze by if you wanna get out of your seat 😁. Makes a great blog. But I just reserved my seats for my Lufthansa flight on the 747, and I got a window seat with only one person next to me. It's a win, cause it's near the back where the body of the plane gets narrower, so there's a seat to my left, but no seat next to me on the right cause there's not enough space for one. But there is enough space for luggage, and so I can have all the space in front of me all clear 😏

Well thing is, that that's everyone's attitude. And if everybody is going to be selfish, there will be conflict. Guaranteed. Who's right? No one is, cause they each want their own way. That's why it's best to be understanding. Not stubborn. Generally during mealtime, no one reclines, so then I agree, I absolutely wouldn't let them. But in general long haul flights have sufficient space for me (an above average size male) to be able to get into the aisle even when the seat in front of me is reclined. At least in my experience.
Disagree on the recline seat topic. Airlines should ensure the space between seats be sufficient to recline seat at the max. If seats can't be recline because they are too close, that's the airline fault.

one time a 2 year old kid in the row in front of me climed over his seat and ended up in my row. I reported it to the flight attendant and she told the mom of the child to fasten his seat belt or she would have to kick them off the flight.

I agree that one shouldn't do it while food is served, but when lights switch off and everybody reclines.....I mean, it only sucks when your own seat is not reclined, too
This is something that got started way back before airlines began packing in passengers like sardines. Once a lo-o-ong time ago there was room to lean your seat back without disturbing the passenger behind you - hence the instruction from the Flight Deck before landing to "return your seat backs to the upright position" commonly spoken as part of the routine.
Now with most airlines packing you in like so many pieces of produce for maximum return on passenger miles it just doesn't work that way any more and leaning back to sleep on a long flight almost isn't worth it. Times change. .. mostly in the corporations' favor and not in yours. ...Enjoy your flight.
Keep this rule in mind. All children not related to yo are very annoying. Unless you're flying with your family, you are the only person on that flight who will not find your kid annoying. Try to remember that, okay?

I follow these three rules for reclining seats. You can recline the seat if:
1. The person behind you says it's cool
2. The flight is longer than 4-5 hours
3. The flight is past 9 or 10 at night or in the early hours (like 1 in the morning)
I follow one rule when the person in front of me reclines their seat.
1. Eat something with garlic/tuna/eggs and breath heavily.
Totally aware it's not your fault. But you all know damn well planes are not designed with adequate space. Be reclining your seat your basically saying, "Fuck you, and fuck the little space you have, I'm more important!" So... fuck you too, I hope like garlic, heavy breathing and random kicks to your seat when I'm "adjusting."
I knee the eat constantly until they put it back up.
My only rule is a quick warning "Hey, I'm putting my chair back". It's not a request, just letting them know. It's not up to the person behind me if they'll let me get comfortable or not. I don't ask them if I can have a drink, or if I can watch TV. It doesn't give their feet less room, it's not like people need arm room or chest room anyway. I've never heard people complain about putting chairs back before.
Then let me inform you that I am coming to sit in your lap right now.
if you did that with me, or anyone my size or higher, you would probably end up with alot of trouble. if you put your seat back you will hit my knees, and if you hit them...

For the not reclining your seat, I was once on an Aegean flight and I was moved to the last seat in the plane and I was kind of upset because I was next to the bathrooms and (I've never done it) but I heard that you couldn't recline your seat at all in those chairs but, of course, I tried it and it didn't recline a lot, but it still did which makes it so much more comfortable and I wasn't worried about disturbing any other passengers. It was a short flight and it wasn't overnight so the bathroom problem wasn't a big deal. CHOOSE THE BACK!!!!

I hate when people are horrible to a kid on a plane. It is just a kid. Try being nice, and they might calm down and not cry.
One time, me and my family went on holiday to Saudi Arabia, and my brother was 3, and he kept crying. He had run to this other passenger and the passenger was so nice. He picked him up and just played with him and talked to him until he calmed down and all the passengers took photos with my brother because he was really cute, and it just shows that a little kindness goes a long way.....

I was on a plane for over 8 hours recently and Omg. This little girl kept kicking my seat. The mother wasn't doing anything. Like you have a baby screaming and crying.

I little child did that to me once and the child did it for at least 2-3 hours until the mother realised that the kid was kicking the seat

I had a kid kicking my seat once and pulling the sleeves of my shirt (when I had my arm on the arm rest). I turned around and told his mother about it. She rolled her eyes at me and didn't say or do crap with the kid. I didn't want to start a fight so I didn't say anything. Then the kid started doing it again. I finally told the flight attendant about it. The mother gave the flight attendant an attitude when she asked the mother to please tell her child to stop. So the flight attendant told me she was upgrading me to first class seats for free. You should have seen the look on that mother's face!! I made sure I smiled super wide at the mother as I was moving towards the front too.

I'm an elderly person with a muscle-soft tissue-and bone disease and sometimes have some problems with my legs, need to be able to put them up, onto something, so I fear that will maybe cause problems when flying. I hope there is a solution for that? Maybe sit somewhere in the front with more legroom? Let the travel agency know when planning the journey? maybe also tell the stewards when boarding??? My son also needs room, he is 1m81 and chubby, also sweats very hard all over his body due to the 24/7 hellish pains (has the same disease as me and therefore sweats extremely hard, nothing can be done about that either!!), so that can also become a huge problem I fear.Washing doesn't help either, badly enough. People being sick on a plane, is my biggest fear. i saw a passenger that was a little girl. she was crying the whole way. then, when we landed and we went to the elevator, she came in and she threw up. i was like a magnet to the wall. luckily i didnt get sick.

I love this video because I watched it like three years ago and it was so good and I understand it now because a lot of people don’t follow the rules and I follow the rules on the plane and I’ve been on a plane for like 1 million times and yeah so I hope you follow the rules on a plane if they don’t want you to recline your Seat just respect them I never lowered my seat because if so it’s next to me on a plane and when i was a kid
1. Putting your feet up (and taking socks off)
2. Reclining your seat too far
3. Listening to loud music
4. Ignoring safety rules
5. Not keeping up with hygiene
6. Let your child roam free (e.g. seat kicking)

10. Being rude to cabin crew

I always wondered what would happen if you opened the over-wing exits in flight, the simple answer is, you can't. They automatically lock when a few conditions are met: at least three of the four doors have to be closed, the plane has to start actually taking off, and there's one or two other things. Because on Boeings the door opens outwards, they can't really be jammed into the fuselage like the main doors. But they will lock before the flight commences, if they don't (or the door is opened at any point), there is a warning and the takeoff will be aborted.
