Amazing you give them all names and remember them without fail. Ever thought about offering a day on your farm for a day for a charge?? I would love to pay you for a day on the farm and would have paid for both of my daughters to come and spend a day to see where their food actually comes from!! Wouldn't have to charge for an overnight stay, but FARM WITH YOU FOR THE DAY.... I think it would be very well received if you offered it!!!
ANYONE ELSE THINK IT'S SOMETHING YOU WOULD SEND YOUR KIDS TO??

That's a great idea! We need to get the farm a little safer and more inviting for visitors, but maybe we can offer some open farm days in the future.

Do you find your nubians are loud? And also if dairy breeds are bred to kid, do they require milking or do they regulate off of demand?

My Nubians are only loud when they are in heat, but I think most goats get noisy then. Heavy milk producers will need at least some milking to help relieve udder pressure, especially at first when the young kids don't drink vey much. Typically they will regulate milk production to the demand over time.

Would you say pet pigs (potbellies) or pet goats are easier for someone with no experience keeping either?

I think pigs are far easier to raise than goats. I recommend doing lots of research on potbellies before buying to make sure that's what you want. Rescues are overrun with pet pigs that get too large and/or aggressive once they reach adulthood. It would be great if you could find a rescue to adopt through.

@@YouCanFarmthanks! Yes, the goal would be to rescue/adopt the goats or pigs! Thanks for the response 😊
