I was stationed in North Carolina and lived in Jacksonville. That is some beautiful country and amazing people! I do miss the weather there, living in Arizona during the summer kicks my butt. Great video!

Thanks! Jacksonville is close to us, we are in Burgaw. There is definitely some pretty land out here.

We have been gearing up to preparations to sell our urban Pittsburgh home (which until recently had hens and a garden) to make our move to our 4 acre agricultural rainforest property at 1500’ elevation Mt. Kilauea in roughly a year. Definitely looking forward to committing our time to some more livestock and turning the property into a homestead.

We live in eastern Colorado on 8 acres with 22 Nigerian dwarf goats to include Gus our silver buck. Years ago when the kids were young and in 4-H we had Nubian goats and they have the best personality. I’m tempted to raise some mini Nubians because of their personalities. How much milk do you get from your mini Nubian does? I only get about 2 cups each milking from my Nigerians. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and please keep on posting videos.

I usually get 6 to 8 cups, milking them once a day.

Do sheep get collicky like horses do?
