- Lambing season is in full swing here on the farm. All the babies are doing great, but we have faced several different challenges this year. I'll cover some of the common issues that sheep farmers and breeders encounter around birthing time and solutions for how we deal with them.

Lamps are adorable. I love to see this video more and more
Thanks!
Julie, your knowledge and experience really shines through! The lambs are lucky to have you!❤😊
That's so kind of you to say, thank you!
Very interesting video! Even though I've always wanted goats more then sheep. Lambs are so very cute!!
Yes they are!
I thought I remembered you saying you use a “3 strikes you’re out” rule for culling.
Do these ewes get a strike for rejecting lambs?
Love your flock!
It depends on the circumstances, but usually it does count as a strike against them.
@@YouCanFarmI don’t blame you! Maternal instinct is definitely something I wanna select for.
23:10 Hi Julie ❤ why does the goat have a strap around her please xx
Hi! That ewe (sheep, not goat) experienced a vaginal prolapse during pregnancy, and the harness helps prevent it from happening again.
What are the weights on gladys and the little guy right now?
They are at about 8 and 10 lbs now.
Have you ever had goats milk if so which do you like better
I milk our goats and we drink it all the time, it's super delicious!
How long do you have to bottle feed a lamb?
For a minimum of 6 weeks, but I usually feed longer, up to 12 weeks.
Wow you are a animal psychologist
Farmers need to be!
