- Lambing season #3 has begun and the competition is going to be fierce! This year, the Ewes jump out to an early lead. We’ll see if it holds or if the Rams make a comeback.

Yes! Our sheep are hair sheep (mostly Katahdin, some dorper mix). Unlike wool sheep, there is little to no concern about fly strike or other complications with their rear ends. Thank you! We are still learning much as we go and making management improvements as we find new/better ways to keep them healthy and thriving.

It's always this time of year that I go vegetarian when I see all these wee angels being born. Started watching Sandi Brook and never thought I'd be so fascinated with farming and/or lambing
Thank you! I know what you mean! We genuinely love these sheep and give them the absolute BEST life we can. It’s really hard on those few days when the reality of it all has to be dealt with, but it is their purpose and there is great satisfaction that comes from knowing we are providing folks with quality, healthy meat. But it’s still hard on those days. In between, we love them and spoil them. And they give us so much joy. Thanks for watching!
