- I'm setting up a Root Spa DWC Hydroponic 1 bucket kit to grow Celebrity Hybrid tomatoes. I'm also growing the same variety of tomatoes in an ebb and flow system from Grow Ace, the Air Cubes. Let's see which does better. Here's hoping to a good harvest from both!

The ebb and flow looks like it has coco in it, i prefer to use hydroton :)
So many hydroponic systems out there. I know of the pebbles you used but what was covering the plants of the ebb and flow system?
Hi Genevieve, I used coconut coir in the ebb and flow system. I'm going to try a bucket system for outdoor growing on my deck. I think its best to just build it yourself if you don't mind the time it takes to get the materials and do the drilling and setup. Thanks for the comment!

The site tube is blue. I wonder if they did that to help minimize algae growth.
