    The air pump lines need one-way valves fitted and raised above the water level.

    Great video! Sorry if this is a noob question, but why did you put the smaller net cup in the larger one instead of just putting the small net cup in a smaller hole in the lid?

      @@SoothingLeaf I'm wondering the same about the acorn squash 😀 I followed your tip and topped my pepper plant and removed the small flowers that were developing and I have a lot of new leaf growth. Thanks 👍😀

    I think in smaller containers it would be more convenient, hydroponics doesn't need big containers, what do you think?

  • @Lisa_Zapata
    @Lisa_Zapata 2 года назад +1

    Do you add nutrients? And when? Or do you do a water change with nutrients in it and how often? Thank you.

  • @evanserickson
    @evanserickson 3 года назад +1

    Do the roots need to be long enough to touch the water? If they aren’t do you just water it overhead until they are? Also what do you think of the people that put a sprinkler head and water spray system inside it?

    Forget the water level indicator. Just drill a hole & use a plug. Work better & no fungus.!

    Good job...!!!
    How much nutrients mixing water needed one tomato plant's....??? (In this dwc systems, start to end of harvest ) plz answer me...

    • @SoothingLeaf
      @SoothingLeaf  4 года назад

      It is hard tomato plants drink up a lot of water so you can do two ways. Using small container and refilling it before runs dry. Or you could use a large container with like 10-20 gallons is perfect

      You'd drown the roots. They just need to barely touch and then they'll start reaching down
