Best Punk Band in History. Bar none! Best punk show I ever attended. Met Lee Ving before the show as he was dipping his comb in beer to comb his hair. historical man.

Lee Ving...The evil Elvis of punk rock! Def don't see bands like this anymore. Last time I heard this song was on S.O.D''s Live at budacon...HARDCOREFOREVER!!!
@vaginalbloodphart you have to find the new underground bands pertty good ones out there you should look up skeptical youth there a local east la under ground punk band
Fear fans might want to check out the book "Wired" about the death of comedian John Belushi - Belushi was a big fan of Fear and Black Flag during the early days of the LA punk scene. Belushi wanted his black comedy film "Neighbors" to be a punk film and hoped the audience would tear the seats out of the movie theater - he worked with Fear and they contributed a song or two (?) to the film - I have never seen the film but according to the book its really bad. But the book is great
Saw Fear at the Country Club in Reseda '81. Don't know what was better, the songs or the between song put downs. They didn't call Lee the "punk rock Don Rickles" for nothing! Also did a phone interview with the band around the same time. It was like interviewing the Four Stooges. The only thing I could say it was comparable to would be prison rape. Needless to say, I never did another interview after that.
@bakedaddy747 Idk about that...def would be talked about more for what they say. Look at a band like The Mentors. They are horrible in what they say. I'm all about talking about whatever you want but they certainly cross the line.
Loved this band. Wish "The Decline of Western Civ" would be issued on DVD. I'd buy it for the FEAR performances alone.
The greatest 2 mins. & 22 sec. in the history of Punk, ah to be 17 again... I wore the grooves off of this track... Thanks for posting!!!
Lee Ving could really sing too!
I wish we had the one where he's taunting the San Franciscans.
