It automatically connects to use the microphone, but does it automatically use the zoom handy app for recording? I can’t find this info anywhere. Do I have to hit record on the app AND on the camera?
Did you ever get an answer. Sats “switch to video mode” … but there is no switch …!
@@johnscott4693 Nope. I gave up and bought a better mic. This one always had a whistle in the background/interference.
@@madnessintomagic thx ... so didn't buy the app. No whine, latest updates handle that and says put in airplane mode as a fix. vs latest iphone, with video, it's only advantage is ability to handle wider range & gain. Mind you, that's very important to me. Non video the effects are useful, but not much.
how come when I open the camera and record a video, I cannot hear anything from the audio headset monitor?
Do you use the headphones?
I believe because there's no direct monitoring while using your camera but when you play it back you can hear it and or there's direct monitoring while using the Handy app.
