What's the 44 Club? Well it all started in the outro of this video • HOW TO BOTTLE FLIP (ON... where we wondered if anyone was still watching the video at that point, and to comment 44 (Scott's fave number) if they were. He's actually safer there than the boys on the ground. The tower is basically a giant Faraday cage that would direct the lightning straight to the ground. Whereas, if you were struck at ground level you'd be crispy.

I mean, as far as the lightning goes, inside a big metal cage (ie a Faraday Cage) is pretty much the safest place you can be, so long as you don't touch any of the exposed metal uprights
