Kingdom Hearts 3 is the twelfth instalment and adaptation of the franchise. Incorporating fascinating worlds and characters of Disney along with Final Fantasy and other Kingdom Hearts characters, this high-fantasy game will not disappoint gamers on a quest for adventure.
Taking place directly after the final events in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, protagonist Sora is joined by his companions Donald and Goofy as they search for the seven guardians of light and the Key to Return Hearts. Face combat and quests with well-known characters, and some brand-new ones, as you travel across magical worlds with the classic trio to ultimately end Master Xehanort’s evil plan.
The worlds that appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 consist of new and old, perfectly blended so that you will always have a varied mix of locations. Some of these include Kingdom of Corona, Big Hero 6, Mount Olympus and the highly anticipated Toy Story, all of which you can visit and interact with much-loved personalities.

@@buttertoast1146 The point is, "Kingdom Hearts" is probably a video game title in Verum Rex's world, just like "Verum Rex" is a video game title in the Kingdom Hearts world.
Originally, Nomura planned on combining Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. He, unfortunately, couldn't fulfill his goal after being pulled off of the team for Final Fantasy XV; however, perhaps remnants of this plan can be found in a particular easter egg, in which Prompto mentions a game about a hero with a key that can open any lock upon being confronted with an impassable door that looked unlike any other in their world.
This is mere speculation, but I believe Verum Rex is his attempt to replace the ties to that work which he has lost. In that case, I admire his determination to keep at a puzzle even if not all of the pieces are available. He just decides to make more to fill the gaps. Nomura, you sly fox.

Somewhat Confirmed: MoM gave Yozora trials and told him to "Save Sora"
Theory: Yozora says he doesn't really look like the way he appears because he lost himself as a version of "Sora" from a different tear/timeline, one possibly including Union X more exclusively. If Yozora saves Sora from Shibuya, it will bring all these characters together and tie them all into one story.
Also: Since this fight occurs after the data fights it suggests that through CiD researching the data in Hallow Bastion that they discover Sora is in Shibuya which is how then Riku visits and ends up there in the secret ending

This proves Yozora is a good character. In both endings he tries to help Sora. But only at the right time. The bad ending suggests he crystallises Sora to save him from whatever fate could bestow on him /alas FF13. The good ending suggests it isn't quite time yet. The good ending also reveals what I believe to be Luxord.
But... how? His comment also may have double meaning. "Impressive, isn't it" implies he's talking about the city OR he's talking about Sora and his power, hence why it only occurs when Sora defeats Yozora.

Hey remember the good old days when people were smart enough to figure out obvious story points and didn't need it spelled out for them or when people were actually paitent for the next game. Cause I sure do, I mean seriously I love the remind dlc and the explanations for things like Xion I enjoyed too, but here's the thing I already FIGURED OUT she was a replica made from Vexen. I was able to piece it together fine in the original scene. People are constantly acting like it's so hard to figure things out, but the game does do a good job at explaining it's plot points without losing me. I don't need the answers spoonfed to me.
When the original scene happened for me the first time, I put it together that oh Vexen's on Sora's side meaning they have access to the replicas and that's how Roxas, Xion, and Namine will get there own bodies. Thus I didn't need further explanation for how Xion was there, the additional scenes for it are great the context is nice. But was it really that hard to use an ounce of thinking to put that together for people?
Quite shocked that Sora didn't tell Yozora about his first encounter or mention of him in the Toy Story world.
Guess they didn't want to incorporate a Pixar property in the story. It would be so awkward to hear a character go "I saw you in a commercial in Monsters Incorporated!" It's like Cloud saying to Sephiroth that he saw him in a Disney Land ride.

It was actually Versus XIII, and was meant to be part of the FF XIII universe, so chances of that happening are unlikely.

They were part of a shared mythology (not universe), alongside FF type-0 but each director would interpret that mythos in their own way.
It was called Fabula Nova Crystallis: FF13.
That confused many people and they dropped the "13" of the name.

Type 0 was originally Agito XIII and also originally a prequel to XIII. Versus XIII was also planned to be set in the same world at a differ point in time as well. Both of those games were announced alongside XIII. They got delayed, development and writing diverged, and none of that ended up happening, so we got Type-0 and XV instead. The whole point of the Fabula Nova Crystalis thing was to have a shared cosmology. This was explicitly stated from the get go as the intent behind the project when it was first announced.
@@DolusVulpesLet me clarify, Each director INTERPRETTED the mythology completely differently. They were inspired by the same mythos but didnt share the exact same one. They didnt consult with each other and see how it all fits in a single universe. Maybe a multiverse but that's it.
They would use things like Lcie and Falcie and the goddess etro, but that's all they would be connected to. They dont share a history location or even timeline.
For y'all lost and confuse, try keep it cool. Overthinking's not good for your health. Best to just guess things and wait things to come out if you really want to wait.
After all, this is the beginning of the next saga. Try imagine being in Sora's shoes. He's banished, completely lost to an unknown place, suddenly met a video game character from a game from a world of toys, was attacked by the same figure, and started thinking everything doesn't make sense. Sora doesn't even get a chance to back out of this, not knowing what the heck is going on. Who wants Yozora to save Sora? Why does he need to fight Sora to accomplish that? This isn't the first time someone unreasonable goes and attacks somebody and doesn't give the answer up. Sora at the end before he readies his weapon is frustrated at the immediate change from talking it out to fighting it out without a reason why. He just ended up back in the Final World after using his Power of Waking to save Kairi not too long ago.

I’d love to believe the Nameless star was Stella from Versus XIII now considering she talked about how her existence was erased by a somebody which would be true since she was a cut character from XV by the devs and her heart replaced with another which would’ve been Luna and how the person looking for her is essentially not the same person either since the Noctis we knew from that game never turned out to be Versus Noctis and how the secret ending for this basically confirms the theory of him being that character from what feels like an alternate timeline. Seems like everything is tied together in very interesting way

So there's a rumor circulating that TWEWY 2 is in the works and is gonna be announced soon. In the final mix version of the game, Shinjuku is shown to be destroyed and in the secret ending of KH3 shibuya and shinjuku are featured. I'm thinking if TWEWY 2 is declared Yozora is gonna make an appearance, he's gonna participate in the reaper game in shinjuku and shibuya, and he's gonna learn about Sora from Neku. The reason he says that isn't what he really looks like is because his appearance was his wager to enter the game like a certain other character.
Finally confirming the Nomura verse.
Assuming that this theory is even true, I’m more partial to this tying into TWEWY rather than Versus. But this means that Yozora would be strong as hell for the Reapers Game. Too strong even. So I get the feeling that unless he had different powers or the trials granted him the abilities he can do now, he’s probably not from the same world as TWEWY. It would also barge in on Neku’s importance. To quote a specific line: “the Game literally can’t start without Neku.”
@@souloftherisingsun8274 You misunderstand. My theory is that Nomura is using TWEWY and KH as stepping stones leading to a Versus reboot. My theory is that Versus Noct died (technically his concept did) and was put in the reaper games. That's why he looks like yozora, his appearance was his entry fee, like shiki's. He'd most likely be either a secondary character or the superboss.

When the Nameless Star from the Final World told Sora that the person she was waiting for was someone who had changed due to having his heart replaced by someone else's, I assumed she was Strelitzia and she was waiting for her brother Lauriam/Marluxia.

I was surprised to learned that Dylan from Suite Life is Yozora, I couldn't even recognize his voice.
Yozora saying that he doesn’t really look like that make me question so many things. Then the whole thing with waking up in the car with Luxord as his driver after the whole thing while wondering what’s real or not just makes me question what’s going on. Not to mention Yozora is apparently a commander. So many different elements to all this.
Now we know why Sora was surprised when he heard Yozora's name from the nameless star since he recognized it from the Toy Story world as a video game character but as said, that is not what he really looks like confirming that of was stated about him by who we now believe is his world's Sora.
The night sky place looks beautiful and so is music, needs to be an ambience video or something

@@Xgil2Play same to you. Riku stats that he was in the world with yozora in it. It is possible there are 2 worlds shown in the yozora episode but it is not confirmed or directly implied. You read between to lines to come to the conclusion aka there is no evidence unlike the nameless star being also named sora, which is also not concrete but has evidence.
I really love the song that plays in the beginning. It’s so soothing and really mellifluous. I hope someone gets the chance to have this audio out without Sora and Yozura talking.

Yes. They're playing the Reaper's Game and killing each other will grant you a ticket out to the Final World where you can return to where you came from.
But my guess is that Yozora losing is canon and he makes an oath to return (Versus XIII)

I was talking with my friends who are huge TWEWY fans and we have a theory that Yozora May be a composer from Shinjuku I don’t know enough about TWEWY to really parse out how but they were drawing a lot of parallels between Joshua and Neku, and Sora and Yozora, as well as some cliff endings in TWEWY.
When Yozora is in the car, it’s from FF versus 13 ((FFXV)) Noctis is also doing the same pose

This is the data world, and Yozora is using someone else's data as a vessel and used it to go to the datascape, While there he became a Player in the Reaper's game from TWEWY since it's Shibuya and the 104 building is still there, And he was given a Task to "Save Sora or Face erasure". But we can't see the Timer on his hand because he is wearing gloves.

It’s a little funny to me that Yozora chooses to fight Sora because of his name. Like, I know Sora isn’t the most common name, but surely there can be multiple Soras. That’s like meeting someone named George and being like, “You’re George? Why? It doesn’t matter. I’ll save you.” Then you pull out a gun and try killing/saving him.

Yozora knows who that girl is, we literally see him try to save her in the commercial. He wouldn't have said "Sure, I've heard of you" AFTER he already experienced whatever happened in Verum Rex.
