i have been banging my head against a fucking wall with the loomis method for literal years now, and even this video doesn't help, because how the hell do you know where exactly to place the divisions on the sphere? every loomis tutorial i've ever seen seems to imply that you need to intuit the measurements to a degree, because its clearly not exactly where the straight line from the diameter of the circle is, you can see in the video it's not lined up with it
I've followed this method multiple times now using lazy nezumi, so i *know* my ellipses are perfect, and the proportions STILL feel off when I add the features
the loomis method was sent from hell to torture artists

Yeah people, the full course has a video of around 3 hours explaining in amazing detail every single anatomical part of all of the face. Even as someone who already did portrait professionally, I found it very useful anyway, really informative and deep, the right course to learn from scratch or to level up after being stuck on a plateau for some time. So go grab it, it's one of the few good uses of your money nowadays. Knowledge is invaluable.
