It might be a bit more advanced, but clothes rendering tutorial would be nice.
Not drawing, but actually shading and rendering.
I say that cause while I draw the folds ok and values ok, my clothes looks either blurry or like they are 4000 years old.
I do feel like I'm the only one with this issue, so it might not be that useful, but can't think of anything else.

A great example of character design where hairstyles are relevant is My Hero Academia. The hairstyle of some characters clearly define their personality; spiky and pointy for Bakugou's explosive personality, and soft and fluffy to go along with Deku's good nature.

Nice instructional demo! Hair rendering is for character designers what foliage rendering is for environment designers. It's a spot that's easy to get caught & over-detail unless u have strong design & composition. But even then, it can take quite a bit of time to render it realistically. You can simplify forms that are large, far away or in shadow. I like how you made ribbon forms

Can I make a request tho? can you do tutorial on _hijab_ or headscarves? I kinda like the aesthetic. simple cloths on an object I can deal with because you just let physics do it's thing. Elaborate twists and turns like a wrap, or a bow or a beautiful hijab on the other hand? now that's tricky. It's like drawing knots or braids--it's weird and to me looks complicated.

Another great tutorial! Thanks! :) Can you please also make a video on *cast shadows?* There are a few RUclips tutorials on this topic but I really want to see one from an art teacher with a teaching style that I like. You are one of my favorite RUclips art teachers, so I’d love to see how you teach this topic.
It's difficult for me to understand how cast shadows are supposed to look. What’s even more confusing is that *cast shadows are subject to change according to the type of lighting in the environment.* I don't know how and when to depict those changes.
Additionally, it’s not easy to figure out how to distort *a cast shadow that belongs to a complex physical form, such as an organic form.* There’s a lot to consider when working to portray *shadows that make sense in their environment* and that also *accurately represent complex + organic forms.*
The art tutorials on cast shadows that I have seen so far definitely don’t cover all of these aspects. I'd really love to see a tutorial on this topic from you in the future! It would be very helpful.
    Thank you ;)

One of the things i struggle the most is hair. i get everything right (almost) but the hair frustrates me the most. Especially since i draw primarily men and so i need it to be short, stylish but also maintain that silhouette. It's easy to draw women's hair since it's just drawing literally a bunch of lines down the body, so i never have problem with that.

Have you ever considered doing tutorial books, they can be both PDF and printed as Hardcover and Paperback!?
I do my art the traditional method, I don't use the computer or a tablet or Wacom, not even Photoshop, except to remove red-eye!

My question is not how tobdraw hair. It's how to draw the same hair from different angles? Like if I'm making a character there's no way I'm drawing it from the other side

hello marc, im struggling to stop adding details in hair. can you make a shot video. when a good time to stop?
in outline my character looks fine. but in detail looks horrible.
sometimes not much detail, and sometimes too much detail.
