- Playing the Song Livin On A Prayer by Bon Jobi in Rocksmith Plus, it's come a long way since its rushed release, but is Rocksmith Plus finally worth the money, or is it getting reviewbombed rightfully on Steam?

Hey this isn’t a7x wtf
Are you stupid?
new a7x album wen
As a Rocksmith 2014 player way back when, i had no idea a new Roscksmith came out until yesterday. Very impressed by the large library of songs to choose from and not recognition is much better. Sub price is a little high, but this is like Spotify for musicians. Loving it so far.
I think the Summer Sale is still going on making it like 70 dollars for the whole year ... + tax.
Could you use a MiDi pickup on guitar like the GK-3 for tracking in PC Rocksmith+? Say if you have something like the Boss SY1000 the midi pickup goes into, then plug THAT into your PC only using the SY1000 for its audio to midi conversion? As I was just thinking that MiDi Pickups are Hexaphonic and track PER STRING, so surely this would be more accurate tracking than converting normal mono polyphonic pickup output, and since the game itself wouldn't have to do any of the conversion it should have lower latency.
I will always have memories of playing this song on Guitar Hero: World Tour with my older brother and some of our friends when we were younger and absolutely belting the chorus (albeit a little tone deaf at the time lol), so much fun and a timeless song as well
The lots of Steam reviews saying that Ubisoft basically scammed them out of their subscription are brutal. I really hope they sort that out asap.
Also does the game have any Proton breaking DRM or anti-cheat? I'd like to try running it on Deck once they sort out that whole scamming their customers thing.
Not sure about the DRM. Also the subscription problems have been happening for a long time and are the biggest issue with the game right now, but I don't think it's the Rocksmith team, I think it's a Ubisoft head office thing
my problem with rs+ isnt the service itself, i tried it a bit and it works well, def some improvements from 2014
it's that ubisoft made it THE only way to play rs without sailing the seas
I'm conflicted. $140 is super steep for a year subscription, but I get Lupe Fiasco, various anime songs, Opeth and Dream Theater including their longest song Octavarium clocking in at 24 minutes....
Yeah price is high and might be the hardest hurdle this game is going to have to overcome - providing enough value for the money.
Also reminds me I need to play octavarium
They now do sales on steam for like $70 for the whole year.
I'm just doing 19.99 a month to play on the PS5. It seems good in some places, but they gotta get full albums up and running and replace the covers for the real deal. I don't wanna hear someone else try to imitate David Lee Roth because it's just cringe. DLR did what he did because he was able to do those high-pitched squeals and other kinds of noises. The lack of Sammy Hagar, Avenged Sevenfold, and other bands are depressing. I know it's about licensing stuff, but there should be a lot more. I'd also say remove the live performances of songs unless they're Rock and Roll All Nite Long, and Do You Feel Like We Do because they're better live than in studio.
It's very, very worth the price. It has a huge library now and a lot of it is well known songs.
nah
They have more wiggles songs than songs that made people wanna learn guitar
Not yet
It's free?
It’s really not.
Hey man! I have a question. I have playstation plus premium with Ubisoft +. Is rocksmith+ included or not?
Rocksmith+ is not included in Ubisoft+, which is dumb in my opinion. I think it should be
I would pay to use the premium service if not the for the fact I can’t play the songs i bought on Rocksmith 2014.
20 bucks a month fuck dat when I have over 100 songs bought on 2014
When is it coming to xbox series x?
Played RS+ the other day after seeing it being advertised to have a free selection of songs to try, only to see that it's 4 songs that nobody has ever heard of including fucking happy birthday? Lots of features missing from it too still. Feels weird to be 10 years after a super successful product and it's just still so lame for a monthly fee.
the library for RS+ is absolutely impressive but the way the songs are organized is an absolute nightmare. its one of the many reasons i just keep going back to RS2014 despite paying for the full year
Except the fact that its Extremely Overpriced at 20 USD a frickin month!
Price IS high and that's going to be the hardest hurdle to get subscribers
They do now sales and make it like 7 USD per month on the yearly sub, maybe even a bit less. Annoying when you already have a sub running and can't renew your sub during a sale because they did screw this up.
Squidward on a chair
I feel personally $20/Mo is steep. Too steep. Sure there are a lot of songs, but most of those songs are not classics that many want to play and the few they have on there are not the classics they want to play either. Too much random songs on there. I will stick with playing via my amp or on RS2014. Subscribed for 1 month to check it out and I cannot say I am impressed at all - in fact, quite the opposite. Many songs (even some that were released on RS2014) were arranged so much differently than previous making it a little confusing as to why they made that choice. (ex: The Cranberries - Zombie). The song list / layout is absolute trash and something just feels so different about the UI and guitar overlay. Even the commentator that tells you if you did good or bad after a song does not have the same enthusiasm as previous RS. Lastly, Offline Mode? Nope, does me no good if I want to play while something such as net goes out and just want to enjoy playing some songs while I wait. #Ubi$haft
Currently a 50% off sale going on for a year sub
rocksmith plus has a 9% positive review on steam. that doesnt seem good to me.
its listed as free to download so people are downloading it and leaving bad reviews, look how many have 0.1 hours played
@@Chainbrain yeah that's true. I was looking at that, I ended up buying it to try it. I want to learn guitar and or keyboard piano. Any tips on what todo first?
Start playing and don't get discouraged. It's a long process!
