Fantastic work I loved your video. I was replacing a Ryzen 5 2400 to a Ryzen 5 3600 with a B450-DS3H and I had to upgrade the BIOS version to the most recent to make the new CPU work, now my BIOS is using F60h , and the new CPU is working like a charm.

I hit the Enter the key after selecting the file and the filename turned to what looked like Chinese charters to me. I have the Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H V2 motherboard with the F40 version (it was the one that came when I bought it) I would like to upgrade to the F50 (which is the newer one) but I don't know if I can do it safely and avoid having a broken motherboard, can I upgrade from F40 to F50 or do I have to go from F40 to F41, then F41 to F42 and finally F42 to F50? I have never had to update my bios before, but I just updated from a ryzen 7 3700x to a r7 5800x3d and apparently my current bios version did not support the chip. I was very confused and worried I broke something when my pc would not start. It's installing the bios right now, hopefully it works when I swap the chips out again. Great video

My last BIOS Update was the default version from 2018, now i installed the latest and got an big performence boost (boot time - and responsivnes )

f40 should support all ryzen cpu, on this motherboard it has always supported more then 2 GB of ram for the video, thanks for watching and the comment

So should I wait until i install the ryzen 5 3600 and then update it or should I update the f51 bios now?

Hello! I have this mobo with ryzen 3 2200g. Is there any other advantage from updating the BiOS except the compatibility with the new Ryzen 3000 series, cause i don't want to risk it ? (i have F4 now and works fine)
If it is running fine and the memory is running in xmp profile you don't really need to up date the bois, thanks for watching and the comment

I have never had to update my bios before, but I just updated from a ryzen 7 3700x to a r7 5800x3d and apparently my current bios version did not support the chip. I was very confused and worried I broke something when my pc would not start. It's installing the bios right now, hopefully it works when I swap the chips out again. Great video
