Todd and I so enjoyed our visit with all 3 of you at the Badlands. All of you are just the same in person as you come across on the videos. Really enjoy watching you. Happy Travels and be safe.
Hey Cindy & Todd! It was great visiting with y’all! Thanks for taking the time to chat with us. Hope to see y’all at a park again in the future. Safe travels & happy camping!
Just found your blog and love RVTexasY'All! And I think Grammy Kay should get time behind the wheel! I have driven RVs for several years as a younger woman and am looking for my next RV. I'm 71, retired in Florida, and anticipating repeating some of your adventures with some gal friends. Thanks so much for all the trouble you go to for us, you are treasures.
Welcome!! We're so glad you found us! Grammy Kay says thanks for the vote of confidence, but she'll pass on driving. :) Good luck with your RV search. Keep us posted. Thanks for joining us for the adventure!
That was a fun day for us. Glad Y’all enjoyed the Wichita Mountains! We camped in a some hot temps last week, but the shady Oaks and the breeze coming off of Quanah Lake made it pleasant. Broke in the Davy Crockett GMG: Hamburgers, Ribs, Brats, Shrimp, Corn on the Cobb, and Roasted Potatoes all on the Grill. Even broke out the Mexican Clay Pot for Beans. One of our best trips in the heat. The Wichitas are a hidden gem. (Lots of history here.) Enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Hey Bob!!! It was so much fun visiting with y'all! Glad you had a great trip. Sounds like you're eating great! :) Thanks also for the book suggestions!
The Green Mountain Smoker renewed an old interest in cooking more of our meals outdoors like we used too. Your Welcome on the books, started a second reading of ‘Carbine and Lance.” Thanks.
How fun! I love to eat at Herd’s Burgers in Jacksboro! Glad you are having such a good trip! Grammy Kay is so adorable. These are precious times with her! Love you guys!! 😘🐾😘
I specifically bought my RV so I could travel with my parents. Unfortunately we only made 5 trips before they both passed away. Glad to see you are taking your mom along. Enjoy your adventures.
We love Mineral Wells SP. Haven't tried Herd's burger though. We'll have to stop by there next time. The Wildlife Refuge is nice too. Y'all are going everywhere we did,,,kind of neat to watch someone else's videos of the same places. Kind of gives you a different view of the same area. Our's are over on our Dirty Shoes Adventures channel. There are some great hiking trails up there too. We stayed at Camp Doris...twice actually. Hope y'all got to check out Medicine Park while y'all were there. Neat little community by Mt Scott. Not sure which direction you guy's are headed but Quartz Mountain SP is nice also. Looking forward to seeing more and thanks for sharing! Brandon
Just to let you know it was 103 index at Hooks Airport in Spring, TX today. It was very hot. I sure am loving your videos as get to see thing that I didn't know exist. Love the drive through the water and that color of the water WOW! Glad to see that Grammy Kay is having a great time. I got a kick out of Star running towards the deer. Thank you so much. Love y'all
Hey guys! that's where my brother did his basic training at for the army was in Lawton, OK back in the 80's. He's now retired military with tours of duty in Iraq, Africa, Germany, Hawaii, the Marshall Islands under his belt. :)
Hi y'all from the mobile mansion here in Dallas, TX. My wife and I really enjoy your videos. We hope to be buying our first RV in the next year to two so we find your videos very informative and entertaining. We especially appreciate your park and campground reviews. Please say hello to Star, Grammy Kay, and the new kitty. God bless and safe travels.
If you guys liked that place check out Chickasaw National Recreational Area just south of the town of Sulphur , Oklahoma ! I recommend the Buckhorn camping area , it would be better suited for a rig your size but take the Jeep and check out the whole park including the springs in the old Platt park area , they have a great nature center !
I seen in another video that ya'll are headed to Yellowstone, we done the same trip 3 years ago but in reverse. I have some areas along the way I'd like to pass on that really blew us away . First is hwy 14 threw Big Horn National Forest by way of the town of Shell , Wyoming , the canyon that we drove through was just breathtaking with a beautiful waterfall about halfway through named Shell Falls . The town of Shell also has a RV park . Second was the grave of the person Robert Redford portrayed and made famous Jeremiah Johnson is in the town of Cody , Wyoming. Also the town of Cody has many great things to see and do . 3rd we wasnt expecting to find Yellowstone as extremely busy as we did , people everywhere but we found a beautiful little hidden jewel picnic area just north of Yellowstone lake and south of the upper falls called Nez Perce Ford picnic area and it's right on the Yellowstone river , it was so beautiful there and we had it all to ourselves, we finally felt the true sense of the park there . Last thing is if your not staying in the park and plan on driving in and out every day then pack a nice lunch and drinks , places to eat in the park are crazy expensive and always very crowded, pack a lunch and find a nice spot to just hangout and relax. Hope this helps , cant wait to relive this trip through your upcoming videos 😁
Seeing your video makes me homesick for Lawton, Oklahoma. Glad you enjoyed the wildlife refuge. Next time you're around, visit the Old Plantation restaurant in Medicine Park, and Ft.Sill to see Geronimo's grave and where he was imprisoned. There are plenty of elk feeding on the east side of Ft.Sill in the mornings sometimes you can spot them from I-44. Enjoy your travels though Oklahoma!!!
I'm a Texas born & raised, but have lived in Michigan for 54 years! Enjoy your channel. How old is Grammy Kay? Doubt if she beats me! I'm 80, and drove my 30' class A on a 9600 mile trip last year with my sister along. My husband and I are going to Texas this fall (he will drive part time). I love it, but miss some drives, because I don't pull a toad.
Hey Patricia! Thanks for joining us for the fun! Grammy Kay turns 80 next year. Bet y'all had a great trip last year! Safe travels to Texas this fall. Hope to see y'all at a campground one of these days.
I may be mistaken but i think i meet you at lake Arrowhead while i was fishing and tried to build up WMWR I much as i could. I love the place and go up every weekend. I'm glad you listened to your friends. I don't RV but your reviews are great for us day trippers also.
I love that you made it to Mineral Wells State Park. It's a beautiful park, especially for deer watching. I've never been there where I haven't seen deer. (Of course, my ex and I were flying out of the Mineral Wells airport one night when a herd of deer were seen running on the grounds off to our right. THAT I could have done without. LOL! Planes + deer = bad results.) I have an aunt who lives in Mineral Wells; it's a pretty and cute little town. Good to see Grammy Kay on board for the next few months! Safe travels, y'all!
@@rvamericayall - Yeah, I'm trying to recall if that was the same night that we actually made an unscheduled landing at that airport because of the sudden onset of a lightning storm. We needed access to a computer to see how long the weather was going to be in the area and where it was headed (this was before all of the new phone apps that, while not perfect, give a pretty good picture of things). Anyway, I thought I saw somebody inside of a darkened room and was knocking on the window forever. When [FINALLY] a guy who worked at the airport walked around the corner and we told him our situation I mentioned I'd been trying to get "that person's attention" for a good twenty minutes. He took a look inside and began laughing hysterically. I'd been trying to get the attention of a full-size dummy dressed in a waitresses uniform. True story. I'm an idiot. HAHAHA (Please let the deer ramble in front of the plane now. LOL!) Feel free to share that story with Grammy Kay. I think she will love it and hey, I don't know what I'm on this earth for if it's not to entertain others with some of my silly antics. (Trust me, there have been many.)
Hi Tom, Stacie and Grammy Kay It's great to see that you're all having a great time. Tom or Stacie, were either of you a tour guide in the past? You both do a terrific job on your videos. Lots of detailed information. Safe travels😁
Another awesome video. I make lavender cookies and that glass of lavender lemonaid would go great with them. I did not know about the Holy City of Wichita until now. It's on my list to see now. Thanks
Awesome Michael! That is a fantastic trip!! Here’s our playlist from that trip if you’d like to see more before you go. Have fun! ruclips.net/p/PL3vGBOkcBm2XOIOeuZWkouqAXfSDzcTmx
Hey Y'all! Reminds me of the song "On The Road Again" and just beautiful country up there around Lawton! Never been to the refuge area but now we'll add it to the list. Really enjoyed this video and hope Grammy is behaving herself! 😂😂
Hey y'all! Thanks for joining us as we step out beyond Texas and RV America Y'all! We hope you enjoy our adventures with Grammy Kay!
You are so Blessed to have your Mom with you ! I sure do miss mine.
Thank you Doug. We are sorry for your loss. We are treasuring this time.

Hey Brandon! We went over to Medicine Park, but we didn’t film while we were there. Neat place. Thanks for the recommendation on Quartz Mountain!

@@rvamericayall Thanks Tom.
Great video! So glad you enjoyed The Wichita Mountains and hope you’ll come back soon and see more of the area!
We look forward to it Linda! Thanks for visiting! 😁
Great video, traveling and shopping and sites and a little of everything and Grammy Kay.
.
Thanks Chuck! Great time.
My ancestors and my family were from Lawton and we have attended the Easter services for many many years.
We bet it’s really something to see!
We camped at Ft Richardson. And on the way we realized we forgot the food. We had to shop at Lowe’s. We ate at the green frog one morning.
Ooops! If you're going to forget the food, at least you were camping near a grocery store. :) . We hear the green frog is good.

Hi Tom, Stacie and Grammy Kay
It's great to see that you're all having a great time. Tom or Stacie, were either of you a tour guide in the past? You both do a terrific job on your videos. Lots of detailed information. Safe travels😁
Thanks so much Lina! We were never tour guides, but we enjoy sharing what we find. We appreciate the compliment!
Another awesome video. I make lavender cookies and that glass of lavender lemonaid would go great with them. I did not know about the Holy City of Wichita until now. It's on my list to see now. Thanks
Thanks Carol! The Holy City of the Wichitas was completely unexpected. What a neat place.

Thanks Linda! We had a great time!
I need to join Escapees also
Hi Annamay! We put a link to Escapees in the description of this video so you can get more information. We really like the organization.
Thank you we have a 40’ diesel pusher Class A. Not sure whether we can do this one. Loved the video!
Thanks Marie! We’re not sure whether or not y’all would fit. It would be close (and would partly depend on how many other campers were already there).
Thank you.
Glad you went to Meers! It's been many years since I was there, but it was pretty good!
It was good Ann. And a very interesting place!
Safe travels!
Thanks!
I’ve heard about the Meer’s Burger. You didn’t mention it being large, but I remember motorcyclists talking about the hubcap size burgers.
