In 1971, I put in all the Gas Lines, to the Cabins! Ate lunch at Old Plantation for 3 mos. Met Grandma! I can tell You, for a fact, Medicine Park is built on Granite! 😁
I love the Medicine Park area! Such a tranquil place. But, I think the real question is: Did you ever stop in Meers and get yourself some good burgers?
Well, I must say! I wanted to jump through the screen to your back seat and join you both on this one - what a fantastic little spot. I,d find it so hard to leave there. Just so beautiful and calming. Jim, you melted my heart when you spoke of Debbie being your “best friend and favourite person in the world”. It’s so refreshing to see and hear such beautiful, honest feelings, expressed so openly. Sadly these days we don’t get to see this often enough in relationships. You both have such a beautiful marriage and one for many to admire - you're both a real inspiration for us all. I love you guys. You're my favourite couple on RUclips. Take care and travel safely.
We just got back home (Texas) from Medicine Park today. I absolutely loved it.💕 It is so beautiful!💕 We went to the aquarium, Mount Scott, and stayed at the Plantation Inn.
Going back to places and seeing changes is emotional but in a good way, to think of where we have personally been leaving, and the changes the area has made. I recently went back across s. Illinois to Mo a place I had not been for 30 yrs and I was extremely interesting to see the changes, and what had remained the same. Memories are renewed, and more questions are risen to the occasion. Thank you for sharing your memories past and present. As always, loved see the rushing water scenes, consistency always gives a sense of security and serenity.
Thank you for taking us on your journey through this beautiful period piece of this beautiful little town that brought you back to your younger days gone by! What a treat to hear about your life experiences as most of us all have had as well. Sir you are truly a romantic husband which I am sure your wife feels blest to hear about being your favorite person in the whole wide world 🌎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I love this saying if you want to be strong Choose Joy! I need a big dose of Joy in my life 🙏👍✅
It's great to see you guys in Oklahoma! I live in OKC, will be on the lookout for Joy. I really enjoy you guys channel. Jim has inspired me to do a bus build. It looks a lot like your bus use to look. Mine is a 1999 Blue Bird TC2000 40ft pusher, not quite as fancy as Joy. What made you guys want to stop raising animals, sell everything and travel in a bus? Why a bus instead of motor home? Was this your first bus conversion? Keep on keeping on! You guys are Awesome !!!! Thanks for sharing your lives with us!
We are at Keystone Lake for a couple of weeks now. It is a lot of work so don't lose heart. We just both felt like we needed to downsize and we wanted to see a lot of people we have neglected over the years. We feel a bus is much safer (unless you pay a LOT of money) and we could customize the way we wanted, etc. This was our first conversion. Thanks for watching!
I wish I would have known you were in the area, would have loved to meet you both. I remember Debbie saying she was from Apache and we’re from Anadarko. Maybe we’ll see you out on the road!
Thanks for sharing this video! We will be visiting soon from out of town. Where is the best place to park to walk this path along the river if you were wanting to take pictures of friends without as many people around? I like the area in the first part of the video before you got to the area with 2 white bridges. Do we look for the Trout Area?
There is a little pull off on the north side of town. There are trout areas on both ends of town. We are on our way to eat at Old Plantation now. I think you will enjoy it there.
Oh man! You are 45mi north of us! Meers has awesome burgers too. Would love to catch you guys going by. Mt Scott has had so much rain that it washed some of the road up. Last I heard cars cant go up right now.
Beautiful except the Cotton Mouth Snakes I would run like the Dickins if I came across those evil creatures that were relegated to the ground after Adam & Eve disobey God’s warning ⚠️ it’s amazing to see all the Cobblestones are one of my favorites for looking at the different designs and color of the stones with a certain amount of clay mixed into the bricks made with very high heat. It certainly is fitting for the 1920’S ...
I was born in Tahlequah but I am a international nomad. last 30 years been in 47 countries currently living in Indonesia. still no feeling in the world like coming back to Ok. I try to come back every couple of years, think I am going to enjoy your channel thanks
Would You have known a Girl named Cindy, who ran away from home,Apache, at age 15. Because Her Father was abusive. She lived with My Girlfriend and I in Lawton for about 2yrs (until the Lawton Police found Her and took Her home!) 1977-78? She, Her Mother, and 2 younger Sisters, later stopped by My house, to thank Me for taking care of Her! Her Mother had divorced. Cindy would probably be around age 60 now. Perhaps You knew Her in High School? DC 😁

We know where that is! We are at Lake Keystone near Sand Springs OK now for a couple of weeks.
What kind of snake was the one shedding his skin?
That was also a cottonmouth, it just looked different because of the skin shedding. Thanks for watching!

That was after we graduated. I graduated in 1969. Do you know a last name? I still may know her or her family.
No, I never knew Her last name.
Thanks! Anyway. Lawton Eisenhower

Did/ have you seen Jimmie & Nancy?
