Ingredient's
For the filling
Apple Filling:
900g / 2lb Apples (Around 5 apples)
Juice of 1 Lemon
25g / 1oz Granulated Sugar
25g / 1oz Butter (unsalted)
2g / ½tsp Cinnamon
1g / ¼tsp Ground Nutmeg
For Crumble Mix
90g / 3.2oz Plain or All-purpose Flour
50g / 1.8oz cold Butter (unsalted)
50g / 1.8oz Course Demerara Sugar
30g / 1oz Porridge Oats or Oatmeal
2g / ½tsp Ground Cinnamon
1g / ¼tsp Ground Nutmeg
Pinch of Salt
Blind bake for 25min at 180°C / 355°F / Gas mark 4
then bake again for the same time once you have added the filling and topping.
