BG Pathum was only 'lucky' to make it to the quarter-finals considering that early this club find its opponents relatively light. I'm not a JDT fan, but I think JDT deserves to be in the quarter finals considering that the opponents they faced during the group phase were tough and JDT managed to come out as a group winner. But unfortunately JDT had to meet a Japanese Giant, Urawa Red Diamond, too early, which proved to be able to crush JDT and BG Pathum mercilessly.
JDT just don't have the experience, they tried their best but they can't endure that performance for long (unlike the bigger clubs) Most of the times it's not that hard to compete for groups since you can play at your home They don't deserve the quarter finals yet imo & i am sure if they played againts Al Hilal, they could get beat up badly like 7-0 or 8-0 something The AFC is weak this year
